« I wouldn't stay here again. WiFi was advertised but there was no WiFi. There was a router that wasn't connected to the internet and another that was connected to a phone socket but just flashed orange when we switched it on. After many messages to what seemed to be a chat bot we called the helpline and we're told the owner couldn't sort it during our stay. « A nice, clean apartment, up steep stairs on the first floor. The front door is directly into an alleyway/courtyard so quite easy to pop out with the dogs late at night. Directly opposite the co-op which really leaves nothing short on a shopping list. Very well stocked and reasonably priced. Parking behind the co-op is convenient and free. « We enjoyed our week at the retreat by the sea. Its a beautiful property 2 minutes walk from the lovely marske beach. We ate and drank at lots of local businesss. From fresh seafood at the seaview restaurant in Saltburn to delicious pizzas at the local italian in Marske (Base). The only slight downside is that being on the groundfloor, you do hear noise from the neighbours upstairs. But overall, the house really is lovely with beautiful furnishings. »
