« The place was nicely remolded and looked like the photos. However, there was a terrible bug problem. You could not open the doors once it got dark out because hundreds of bugs would get in!! The counter tops would be filled with dead bugs the next morning. We would have to clean and vacuum a bunch of times. They seem to be trying to fix it by putting bug lights in the house. « The perfect weekend get away. The home is beautiful, cozy and clean. The host was super thoughtful and left personal touches related to our stay during the 2024 exlipse, including glases to watch the eclipse with. We spent our weekend hanging out on the dock fishing, watching the array of ducks, herons and swans swim in the inlet and enjoying a lakeside fire in the evening. « No instruction and no one upon arrival. A nice couple showed up later with all instructions, an email prior arrival would have been appreciated. Drapes in the bed room would be nice, the sun is up early à this period of the year! besides that, all perfect would love to go back for a week next year. »
