Oh boy. What an odd experience. The front desk worker, Vi (or Patrick? He changed his name on me), really started my stay off on the wrong foot. He acted like he had never heard of VRBO and told me there were no rooms available. He made it seem like my fault for booking a room there, and like I was supposed to know and manage the behind the scenes of the bookings. After standing my ground and seemingly working through the problem for him, he "found" me a double bed (even though I had booked a king) and gave me a room key. The room was not clean. The hanging lamps have dust from MONTHS ago. The floor was dirty. The sink had an odd red-blood type stain. We opted to not take a shower but definitely would've worn our shower shoes if he had.Ramona was a cute little town and the wineries were very Mom and Pop - which was right up our alley.This stay, however, was a not worth the 150 price point. I would've overlooked it all had the front desk staff been kind and not acted like I was an inconvenience for booking a stay there.The owner did respond to one message from me - which was welcomed, but then was quickly not responsive.
