Villa Il Giardino – Majestic Tuscan Estate with Panoramic Pool, Expansive Gardens, and Elegant Event Spaces in the Heart of Val d’Orcia

Magnificent 18th-century Tuscan villa with private pool, panoramic gardens, and elegant terraces overlooking the Val d’Orcia — ideal for large group holidays, destination weddings, and yoga retreats.

Surrounded by rolling hills, cypress-lined drives, and timeless countryside, Villa Il Giardino embodies the quintessential Tuscan dream. The villa accommodates 18 to 28 guests across three levels and a separate dependance, offering both grandeur and warmth for unforgettable gatherings.

Just 5 km from the medieval village of Radicofani, the villa enjoys a prime location for exploring Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano, Perugia, and Lake Trasimeno — while offering complete tranquility in its own private estate.

A historic villa surrounded by nature, art, and timeless beauty

Set within a vast park of holm oaks and cypress trees, Villa Il Giardino was originally built as a noble hunting lodge in the late 18th century on the site of a medieval hamlet along the ancient Via Francigena pilgrimage route. Over the centuries, it has welcomed illustrious guests, including Vittorio Gassman and Federico Fellini.

Today, the villa has been elegantly restored into a refined residence that retains its original Florentine style, featuring pastel façades, terracotta terraces, and an enchanting circular garden. A highlight of the estate is the overflow swimming pool (6x12 m), set within its own walled garden and surrounded by sun loungers, a shaded gazebo, and a relaxing hot tub — all with breathtaking views over the Val d’Orcia.
