Highly recommend!

Our multi-generational family of 7 adults and one infant, visited for 3 nights and it was the ideal apartment. It’s very spacious and comfortable - lots of room to gather and also enough to have own space. The historical building structure adds loads of charm and the location is great for exploring the old city. The hosts were excellent and responded quickly to all questions

Another great stay

This is the second time that we have stayed here for the Christmas holiday. We all really enjoy the property with each of us having our own space. The property is very well located in the lower city close to Notre-Dame-des-Victoires (Our Lady of Victories) church, shopping and the Funiculaire (which easily takes you to the upper city if one chooses not to take stairs).Driving to and from this property is quite easy with parking on site.We hope to visit again soon!

Luxurious, spacious apartment located across the street from the St. Lawrence River and in the heart of old Quebec City. Perfect location. Friendly hosts on site. Beautifully restored 125-year-old building. Rooftop terrace with fantastic views. Short walks to great dining and shopping.

We had a wonderful stay! The location couldn’t be better. The rooftop was spectacular and we spent time each evening enjoying the view. Amazing, spacious unit with high ceilings, beautiful furnishings, gorgeous views of the river, and great central location. Roof top deck was an added bonus for enjoying wine and cheese outdoors with city and river views. We all agreed it was one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed at!

Excellent apartment!

This apartment was amazing! We had 6 people staying with plenty of room to spread out! We could have easily had 2 more people on the Murphy bed if needed! The soaking tub was the best part of my experience since we stayed over Christmas! It was within walking distance of almost every place we wanted to go! They even provided us with a real Christmas tree to celebrate. We ate Christmas dinner together in the dining room! The manager was easily reachable for any concerns. The parking lot was spacious and attached to the building. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is considering staying in the area. I can’t think of one thing that I would change!

It’s a wonderful property in the perfect location. There are more high quality restaurants within walking distance than anywhere else we’ve been. If you enjoy shopping, you will be in heaven. Pierre and Gregoire are great hosts. What surprised our group is that the apartment is much larger than the photos show.

Beautiful large historic condo. Very comfortable. Impeccably clean. Beds were comfy. Lots of towels, toiletries and supplies. Washer/dryer a nice touch. The views over the St Lawrence are beautiful. Stros from Place Royal. Walkable location.

Fantastic apartment

I recently stayed here with my sisters and father. Lilliana, Pierre and Gregoire were so welcoming to us. This trip was to celebrate my father finishing chemo treatments and we could not have had a better stay. The flat is more beautiful in person! We enjoyed the rooftop patio as well. Thank you to Lilliana for setting up a very early morning cab ride back to the airport for us. They are very gracious hosts and we would love to return!

Beautiful, comfortable condo. More spacious than what pictures can show. Wonderfully decorated and super clean. Rooftop seating area with wonderful views. Delightful hosts. Only good things to be said.

Great place with a couple of small dislikes

First, let me say that the location is amazing. You won't find a better place assuming that you like being in the lower town and don't mind going up the hill often. Next the place is family owned and run and the family is often on site. They are more than wonderful and helpful. The roof deck is a delight and was a perfect setting to watch fireworks over the river. The apartment itself is very very spacious and has lots going for it. Our only issues were as follows: The primary bedroom has only a tub with a handheld sprayer. Though charming, this is very inconvenient. It should have a shower. Next, the floors were somewhat dirty. Walking around barefoot or in socks, we got dirty feet pretty often. Not a deal breaker, but it could use a good mopping. Lastly, the kitchen needs updating. Though plenty good for storing milk for your coffee or having snacks, if you want to cook in it, it is not great. They supply some pans and utensils, but they are not of great quality. There is little counter space. The stove is very small. Overall, a great place that I would definitely book again. I would have given it 4.5 stars if I could.

College girlfriends reunion/60th birthday trip

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful penthouse condo. The place was very comfortable and we loved having our own rooms/bathrooms. Pierre and Greg were so kind and helpful. The condo is in such a great location with wonderful views of the St. Lawrence!!! We all want to return with our spouses and other friends. Will definitely recommend to others.

Delightful stay in Quebec City

Our family of 6 had an amazing stay at Royal Dalhousie! The property was as described/pictured if not better. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The property manager was gracious with our arrival time and very pleasant to chat with. We highly recommend this spacious apartment for your next stay in Quebec. Perfect Location

The apartment is located within walking distance to everything in Old Quebec. We had a wonderful visit! The beds were very comfortable made up with nice linens. Bathrooms had more than enough clean towels as well as soaps and shampoo. The hosts were very accommodating and were quick to reply to communications! We’ll be back!

All That and More!

Our group of 5 loved our stay in the Champlain apartment at Royal Dalhousie. Beyond the aesthetic and comfort of the unit, the condo was well-located in a spot just a few steps from the more pedestrian area of Old Quebec. The host couldn't have been any more polite and helpful.

Fun getaway

The property was very clean and in a great location. The view out the beautiful windows overlooked the park and the river. Shops and dining were about 1/2 block away.
