Harbour in autumn...
Gothenburg harbour, seen from the Guest Harbour at "Lilla Bommen". The tall ship "Viking" is permanently anchored here, and serves as a hotel now. The oddly looking house is called "The Lipstick" (LĂ€ppstiftet) - guess why...! There is a lookout point at the top there, where you can get "a tremendous view over Gothenburg, the harbour, and the archipelago" Quote from arrivalguides.com - a sight I didnÂŽt even know about until just now - but where thereÂŽs a lot of good information to be found in English, so do check it out! In the background you can see parts of "GötaĂ€lvsbron", which is connecting the center of Gothenburg to the island "Hisingen" where the city continues. The Opera is just to the left (but not in the photo), and just a bit further to the right side of this picture you find "Östra Nordstan".
