« This place was horrible. A nightmare in China! I woke up with bed bugs and I saw cockroaches crawling in kitchen during dinner. I don’t know how ppl rate it so high. I guess it is good if you are looking for something very cheap, but you get what you pay for! You were warned. »

« Our room was really wet and the only window we had was on the common area where the staff spent most of his time talking loud, playing video games and music after midnight. Staff was not really useful neither paying attention to us. Terre were not very polite or respectful. It was like we were disturbing them by staying in the hostel. Bathrooms were really dirty. « Dragon hostel is quiet and clean with great access to the National Art Museum (NAMoC) and Beihei park. My room was simple, had good aircon, and a good bed. There is no road noise and the location is very quiet. easy access to Dongsi Metro station. The wifi is slow and intermittent but otherwise still useful. the staff are always available and speak english. I would stay again given the location. »

« Hello all, Due to china government policy, no cheap rooms for foreigners, the owner of this hotel was arrested my china police (Kongan) and this hotel facility was shut down few weeks ago. I was stranded on the street and the phone call was not answered. The previous employee of this hotel answered and she said that she didn't receive my payment and she is not working at this hotel anymore. Be aware of those cheap hostels in China. « base-wangfujing was a fantastic "base" for our stay in Beijing. Easy access to the Subway and with lots of restaurants and bars - both traditional and contemporary - within easy walking distance. Easy walking distance to many of the main sties of central Beijing - Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, BeiHai park and the intriguing maze of hustings around NanLuoGuXiang. « Very large room that is decently clean and comes with a kitchen, washer dryer, living area and sofa. Breakfast was decent and relatively inexpensive with ok options. Cleanliness is acceptable but the key concern is the room air conditioning. We went in the spring so we could live with the weak air conditioning. However, it might be hard to deal with during the summertime. Will recommend the Japanese restaurant at the hotel lobby. Food and drinks are absolutely fantastic. »
