Küstenhof am Kap Arkona - Holiday apartment "Sunset"

The red, thatched-roof vacation home, situated on a property of approximately 10,000 square meters, captivates with its unique location—right on the sea—in the north of the island of Rügen, near Cape Arkona. With about 2,100 hours of sunshine, this area enjoys more sunshine than almost anywhere else in Germany.
The former farmhouse, situated in a dreamlike, peaceful location on the steep cliffs of the Baltic Sea, was built in 1855. It underwent extensive restoration in 1998, was lavishly renovated in 2012–2013, and divided into three lovingly furnished living units. A direct path leads down the small cliff to the beach with pebbles and sand.
The three vacation apartments available in the house are ideal for families of friends or for a stay with an extended family. The large property and a sauna are available for shared use. There is a fee for using the sauna: 2 € for 1 hour.
Each apartment comes with a beach chair.

The “Sonnenuntergang” duplex apartment on the 1st floor of the Küstenhof is 55 square meters in size and accommodates 4 people. You can access the apartment via an exterior staircase, which leads to a large, sunny balcony with a fantastic panoramic view and a side view of the sea.
The apartment was extensively renovated in 2010 and furnished with new, tasteful furnishings.
On the first floor, you’ll find the living and dining area with an open kitchen, the bathroom with natural light and a shower (due to the sloping ceiling, the shower height is a maximum of 1.81 m), and a bedroom with a double bed.
A staircase leads from the living room to the attic, which houses the second bedroom with two single beds.
The kitchen is equipped with a stove/oven, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, etc.
The living room features a modern flat-screen TV (satellite TV), as well as a CD player, radio, and free Wi-Fi DSL internet access.
We would also like to point out that the ceiling height on the upper floor of the house is just under 2 meters. This is due to the building’s construction and is common in old farmhouses and manor houses.

The thatched cottage is a smoke-free property.
For families with small children, a high chair, crib, children’s toys, and books are available.
The property has its own access down to the beach, which consists of pebbles and sand at this point.
On the steep cliff right next to the house, there is a hiking and biking trail with a magnificent view of the Baltic Sea. It is approximately 4 km to Altenkirchen, which has excellent shopping, approximately 3 km to Juliusruh, which has restaurants and shops, and approximately 6 km to Cape Arkona.
