« Our stay at Villa Petra was certainly a highlight of the second half of our trip. Perched high on a hill, our view included the Italian Alps, a large swath of Lake Maggiore, three islands once owned by an Italian Noble family, and at night, the twinkling lights of the villages across that lake. « Abbiamo trascorso un piacevole e rilassante soggiorno nella casa di Alessio. L'alloggio immerso nel verde è situato in un posto molto tranquillo pur essendo vicino alla città dove si trovano tutte le comodità. Il giardino molto bello è perfettamente recintato e adatto anche per i cani di piccola taglia. La casa è accogliente e fornita di tutto. I letti sono molto comodi. Abbiamo dormito benissimo. La comunicazione con Alessio è stata eccellente . Ritorneremo ! »

« The house was clean, well prepared with a very nice welcome present. « This is a beautiful property in a great location if a little difficult to find at first. The house is well equipped with a lovely garden. Our grandchildren loved the outdoor space although at 5 and 1 they needed close supervision for a few trip hazards. Fiona the local ‘agent’ was very helpful throughout our stay and kindly offered more help when one of our party was admitted to hospital. If we were to return to the area I would love to stay here again. »

« The villa was absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views from every side. Our host was amazing and so helpful! Daily maid service was above and beyond. This area is incredibly accessible to all of the sites that you would want to see in northern Italy Lake country. We gave a five star rating, but we would give a 10 star rating if it was possible! »
