« Really beautiful view and lovely location, even with the occasional train passing by (if anything, it added to the charm). Very kind and helpful hosts, who loaned their umbrellas to us and accommodated our last minute change of breakfast time when we were running late from a morning hike. They also packed our breakfast to go when we checked out early on our last day. Walking along the train tracks is by far the best way to get to town and back in under 10 minutes. The paved road is quite windy...

« The homestay double booked my booking so I turned up and they had nowhere for me to stay. At 5pm I then had to try and find a room in Ella for the night, in peak season. Ended up staying in a dirty hotel as that was the only option left after 3 hours of searching, and got severely ill from the food there. My whole holiday was completely ruined thanks to Dimuthu homestay. Unbelievably unprofessional. DO NOT book here, it is not worth the risk. »

« Really good and easy experience, staff was very welcoming and our room was beautiful and clean. The best location if you want to hike to Little Adam's Peak or see the Nine Arches bridge. Short walking to both and easy access to bars and restaurants in Ella town. »

« 굉장한 숙소였습니다. 사장님 부부가 굉장히 친절하게 이래저래 많은 것들을 알려주시고, 조식은 맛있게 준비해주십니다. 과일 차 토스트 계란이지만, 항상 만족스럽게 먹었습니다. 뷰도 사진과 같고, 엘라 자체가 고지대기 때문에, 더위를 많이 타는 저도 에어컨 없이도 충분히 지낼 수 있습니다. 얼떨결에 일박을 더 했지만, 충분히 그럴 가치가 있는 곳이라고 생각합니다. 숙소로 올라가는 길이 계단이기 때문에, 캐리어를 들고 가는건 힘들 수도 있을 것 같습니다. 저는 백팩이라 큰 문제가 없었는데요. »

« From the moment we arrived, the owners were so kind and helpful, even organising a full-day safari with an amazing guide where we spotted three leopards and so much more. The rooms were spotless, honestly the cleanest we saw in our whole month in Sri Lanka, and could easily match a high-end hotel in Europe or the US. The location is perfect, right next to the entrance to Yala National Park, so you get peace and nature all around. We even saw a chameleon in the garden! The food was the best of...

« Midden in de jungle 2 heerlijke kamers met warme douche, prima bed, airco en fan bij een zeer gastvrije familie. Maken, als je dat wilt, een heerlijk diner voor je klaar. Ook kan hij een zeer persoonlijke safari voor je regelen incl ontbijt in de jungle. Ze hebben echt alle tijd voor je. »

« Propriétaires charmants et gentils. Les repas préparés étaient excellents Le jardins est splendide. Ils ont envoyé un chauffeur nous prendre à la gare , et ce sans frais. »

« The room was huge and the facility was very basic. The guy at the reception was very kind to show me the short cut to the town. Wi-Fi worked well. Warm water was available but I had to bath from tap as water pressure from showerhead was too weak. It is because I stayed during the rainy days, I felt the room damp and bed little smelly...Considering the price and location, I could not ask for more. »

« The biggest problem with this hotell was to find it. Our taxidriver asked tuc-tuc-drivers and lokal people, and no one knew the location of the hotel. They had'nt even heard of it. We drow around for half an hour. No signs along the road, not even when we were near by. When we walked back after dinner in the town, there where no lightening near by so that we could be sure to walk the right way. The room was clean, but we missed a small table beside the bed. There were no aircon or heating, so...

"Nice hotel in a cute area with a nice view. Very practical if you want to climb to Ella Rock. Quiet at night but noisy in the morning, and curtains are not blackout ones. The bed are good, but the WiFi is capricious and very slow. Breakfast is good and the people are very nice and welcoming. Overall satisfaction 7/10, I recommend. "

"We had a great stay at 98 Acres Resort & Spa. The place is beautiful with a stunning view. The staff were very attentive, and we loved the varied and delicious breakfast. However, considering the price, we were a little disappointed with the room, which was very simple and rather small. The pool could also benefit from being heated"

"Séjour fantastique dans cet hôtel avec une vue à couper le souffle. L'hôtel est incroyablement situé, juste au dessus de la voie de chemin de fer, et à 5 minutes à pied de la rue principale d'Ella (ça grimpe pour revenir par contre). Superbe piscine, au calme et profitant de la vue. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. Les plats sont délicieux (parfois épicés, on est au Sri Lanka), ils servent aussi des cocktails, des lassi etc, et on a eu la chance d'inaugurer le stand de glaces ! Et le top du top : le personnel d'une gentillesse incroyable, un merci tout spécial à Tushara pour son accueil."
