Watch the pelicans flying low across the water and the Osprey surveying his beach.
From Blue Hills it’s an easy 15 minute drive east to the heart of the tourist mecca of Grace Bay; if you travel west you’ll find the best national parks and nature reserves that Turks & Caicos has to offer, often overlooked gems in this island paradise.
This 2-bed, 1-bathroom apartment is comfortably appointed with true up-cycled charm. Recently renovated you’ll find a well-stocked kitchen, AC units & ceiling fans in both bedrooms, (along with hotel-quality beds & bedding) and a mini-split AC unit and ceiling fan in the main living area. Peppered throughout are some treasured vintage pieces to make it feel like your home away from home.
The bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower, the queen bedroom has a view of the ocean and there is a lovely four poster bed in the master bedroom. There is a terrific breeze coming off the ocean almost year-round.
Providenciales does not have any private beaches, so the whole island is yours to enjoy. A car rental will make it easy for you to visit a different beach every day. There are multiple public access points and parking is plentiful. So regardless of where you’re staying you can enjoy everything the beaches and array of restaurants in Grace Bay have to offer. Staying at Pelican View allows you to enjoy all the glamour of Grace Bay for a fraction of the price!
There is no washer or dryer in the unit but I’m happy to do your laundry for you during your stay. I’m 10 mins away, so close by if you need anything.
The neighbors have a friendly shaggy dog who patrols the property, and there is a family of hens and a rooster who live on the back wall of the garden. If you are afraid of dogs or chickens this is not the place for you!

Apartment was clean and well furnished. AC was functional, but very loud, so we didn't use it very much, which made sleeping at night difficult. Lots of nightime dog fighting in neighborhood. Beach was not busy at all, but also had lots of seaweed/debris so we didn't swim there, but did enjoy seeing sea turtles and osprey. Everyone at Mary's kitchen across the street were very kind and welcoming, plus excellent food as described by others, fun to hang out there in the evenings and look at the view. Beautiful sunrises visible every morning. We spent the majority of our days going to all the different beaches on the island. You DEFINITELY need a rental car to experience the island. Snorkeling equipment was provided and we lived use of the beach chairs for our daily adventures. Only reason for 4 stars is because of the super loud AC and the hearing the multiple dog fights/ bar music at Mary's because we didn't use the AC. We aren't real AC fans, but at the end of a long day, its nice to get a break from the wonderful warm temps, and some quiet time.

We absolutely loved this spot! Across the street was a family owned business with great food. Very spacious bedrooms. Clean and tidy. We had everything we needed. Central location to anything. Elizabeth was def the hostess with the mostest.

Our stay was excellent. The rooms were huge, kitchen well equipped and air-conditioning working. The location was fantastic as it was opposite a small food establishment with an outdoor bar attached, as well as the beach. The recommendations made by the owner were spot on and helped greatly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Great place! Those looking for a place away from the busy resorts, this is it. You’re a 15 min drive from (in our opinion) the best beach on the island( Grace Bay) About the place and owner. Very spacious, has everything you need. Wide open floor plan. The owner is very quick to help with what ever you need. From beach chairs to kayaks everything is there and yours to use. The ice chest works perfectly for a trip to the beach! Just think, you’re going to your uncles beach house. It’s not a resort like the Ritz, but it’s perfect for hanging out or a base of operations. The beach is only a min walk from the front door. Wanna see turtles? Go to the beach and walk left for about 30 ish min. Tons of turtles swimming up close and very visible from shore( right in front of Froggies atv. Or you can kayak and they will swim right next to the kayak. Less than 30 feet off shore. We will definitely stay here Again! Ps… Graceway IGA has everything you will need, even an ATM. Bobs bar bites, Danny bouys, and pelican bay resort bar( set up chairs in front of the resort chairs close to ocean,) quick walk to bathrooms and amazing food. Order the chicken club! Your welcome!

Time to get away!
Location was away of hustle and bustle which was what we wanted. Mary’s across the street was super. Everyone was friendly. Our tendency to do our own cooking surely kept us from some wonderful food, but that was our choice. Might do it again.

We truly enjoyed the experience we had here. We enjoyed getting to know the culture, people, history and support local services. We were not looking for a resort atmosphere where we might miss the real life experiences that we can have with local community.
We spent time exploring the island, meeting people, snorkeling and went Scuba Diving with RJ, TJ & Jason with Dive Provo who are absolutely the best dive team in the world!
Ju Ju, Julie, Slick, George, Barbara and the rest of the staff at Mary's kitchen (across the street) were all wonderful to meet and talk with. Slick taught me to cut and pull a Conch from a shell! Ju Ju served up some of the most creative drink mixes we have ever experienced and George shared several of his amazing life stories.
Pelican View had everything we needed and more. The A/C and fans were efficient and quick to cool the house, the bedroom wall lamps with the plugs and charging ports were very convenient and useful, bed was very comfortable, Turks and Caicos book on living room table was a terrific resource, made good use of the mesh beach/pool float, cooler, towels. Having available cleaning supplies, spices, and other items were nice to have available even if not needed. Very well thought out.
We felt we had everything and more. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
Recommend renting a car as the Island has a lot to see and explore!

While the description of the property is almost accurate, the little details are very important.
1. Property is exactly as the pictures and clean however you will find big spiders crawling and fast, this will not go well with children. Sent a message to the owner and still have not received any replies but thankfully now I’m back home.
2. I made my reservation through Expedia and somehow this property was booked through VRBO, I used the APP to communicate with the owner and she only replied ONCE during my stay. Though she’s good at sending automatic messages.
3. TV could use some local channels, the TV only has streaming APPs.
4. Worst part was the establishment exactly across the street from this place, nothing bad about the food since we never ate there however, this place gets extremely crowded EVERY NIGHT, to the point that cars park in front of the property, on the sidewalks, block you from every single point. All you see is people drinking and stench of weed. Music extremely loud that makes the windows shake, and of course one of the bedrooms faces the outside so you can't sleep.
4. Direct beach access…nope, you can see the ocean yes, however there are lots of trash and debris surrounding the establishment that you can’t access the beach. You are better off driving 10-15 minutes to Grace Bay.

Amazing apartment right across the road from the beach. Super quiet and peaceful area. Front porch area with seating was awesome for lounging around at the end of the day. The beach gear came in real handy and we were super grateful for that. Host was pretty great. We showed up early and she had no problem letting us check-in early. Highly recommend.

This is a well stocked comfortable apartment. I love Mary's kitchen across the street. If you're looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable place to stay away from all the commotion of down town, this is your place. Walking distance to Da Conch Shack. 🏝️

Lovely Stay
This was the perfect spot for us. Stay here if you aren't into crowds or resorts. We had the beach to ourselves every time. Miles of it. Nice snorkeling just across the road and 80-100 feet out during low tide. Mary's restaurant is delicious. The neighbors were all friendly. The local grocery store is a short walk down the street and has the essentials stocked. You'll want a rental car to get anywhere else. Highly recommend.

Elizabeth was very helpful and had everything clean, ready and even let us know she had it ready if we needed it for our early arrival. Having access to her chairs, umbrella and cooler was especially useful. Miss Mary, from the place across the street, cooks the best food on the island (fyi: walk over and order early so it's ready for lunch - when they open.) Highly recommend this apartment. The price and space was perfect.

Beautiful beach!
The apartment was great everything that we needed was there. Elizabeth was a wonderful host and gave us some great suggestions. De Conch Shack on Wednesday nights are a must, get a reservation, it won’t disappoint. Winky is a sweet guard dog that will “warn” you of every passerby and with a wagging tail meet you each time you come home. If we ever get back this way this is most likely where we will stay again.
