Location is fantastic, sometimes pictures make things look better than they are but in this case the pictures don't do the view justice. Excellent view of the ocean beautiful place to watch the sunset. The condo is nice for two people. My only suggestion would be to update the bathroom area. It's not as nice as the rest of the condo but certainly sufficient. We had a great time and enjoyed to stay

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. We were worried about no ac in August but the coastal breezes and fans kept us cool. The place had everything we needed and the friendly managers made it feel homey!

Great Location

My wife and I loved the property. A couple things I would do to make it a better stay. The bed was very uncomfortable and hard in some spots. We didn’t get a comfortable nights sleep. I would fix the curtain rod and draperies, especially in the bedroom. The curtains wouldn’t close so there was no privacy in the evening. Other than that, we loved it! Hopefully next year we can book it again.

This was our second year staying here. This year, we unfortunately had much louder neighbors than the previous year, with people stomping above us during quiet hours (9pm-8am) and people talking loudly on their patio below us at 4AM which was super inconsiderate, rude, disrespectful, and downright idiotic. We both woke up very bothered by all the noise that the fans couldn't drown out and we had to close our window just to try to go back to sleep so we had to sacrifice listening to the ocean waves that we paid for. There were also tiny ants that we experienced inside the property this time that we did not experience last year. We love this place for the price and ocean view, but I don't think we can stay here again due to the thin walls and ants.

I absolutely love this location. We were in unit B6 for Toddstock75 and it was great because there are only a few steps down from the parking area to get to our unit. The view of the ocean is exactly what it showed in the ad. Waking at 5:30 each morning to go down to the grassy area with our coffee to watch the spectacular surprises every morning. No problems except we didn’t look far enough into the closet area to reveal extra towels. I would absolutely stay here again. Mahalo

Stay on North Side Kauai

Pros: great view, clean, close to nice beaches and hikes. Well stocked with laundry detergent, soap, towels, spices, cooking utensils, and beach gear. Bring your own snorkeling gear. Cons: pool was closed entire stay & listed in small print. We had construction across the hall on a renovation the last two nights (lots of bad language from workers), terrible mattress that needs replaced (feel the springs), low water pressure resulted in a constant squill while showering.

It is a little out of the way (you need a car) but we knew that when booking it and purposely were seeking the peace and quiet. The check in and out was easy and the host was very prompt in replying to some minor questions we had. The apartment itself was nothing special, but it was clean and had everything we needed. My only complaint is that the bed was very hard and uncomfortable. A small price for a lovely vacation spot! Loved it, would stay again.

Spectacular View

The view was amazing! The unit quite old, not a lot of updates. The sliding windows and doors were difficult to open. The slider had a huge gap at the top and I had maintenance come to fix it. The plumbing was just plain super loud! I also found dirty dishes in the cupboard. When I phoned the office they were very accommodating. In spite of the drawbacks I would stay there again.

Talked to the management co. twice and informed them we needed more than 2 towels, due to the humidity, and not drying overnight. Never got a pool key. also informed management of this. Really should invest in a washer/dryer, they're not that expensive, & you could get more money per night. It's a hassle to get quarters,, and go twice a week for laundry. Also need more than 2 small size soaps. It's little things like this that keep this property from being a 5 star.

The shower faucet leaked a great deal wasting water and needed to be fixed. The washer and dryer was coin operated and was in the basement of another building. The place needed to be updated. It was not worth it considering the added costs of taxes, cleaning, et.

We loved the easy access to the Sealodge trail to the beach. Our condo view was amazing. It has everything you need for a week+ stay including cooler, two beach towels, and chairs. The bathroom does struggle with older plumbing but worked great for us. My only suggestion for improvement is the mattress. It is barebones and even for me (I sleep on a firm mattress) it was too much. I could feel the individual springs in it. It is a rental and not someone’s residence so it doesn’t have a super homey feel (no cling wrap, scissors, baggies, etc) but was everything we needed for the stay. There is construction happening all around the complex and that did mean sometimes right outside of our door, but it was only during the day when we were mostly not home.

The picture doesn't do the view justice The unit itself though felt cheap. The kitchen has pots and pans with peeling non-stick surfaces(time to toss!), cheap silverware and no BBQ tools . Though advertised the complex BBQs. Considering the limited restaurant options at this time it was a pain. Both the over the range top light bulb and a living room lightbulb were missing. Found a replacement for the lamp. This was also the worst supplied unit we've ever stayed in. We are used to buying some supplies but for our three weeks stay we were left with 1 new roll of TP and 1 new roll of paper towels and the partial rolls from previous guests. 5 trash bags and the request to take out trash daily. 5 dishwasher tablets and a partial bottle of cheap dish detergent. This may just be a cheap management company. We didn't contact them about the missing bulbs, the outdoor light that worked half the time or the other complaints because we didn't want anyone in the unit. Plus they should know the condition, it wasn't hidden. We woke up early most out mornings not to the roosters, but to other units' alarm clocks or suitcases being dragged across the floors or bounced down the stairs. Our last week there, the ocean was pretty rough. That was also the week the pool was closed, without reason or notice. Luckily for our stay on the south shore we were rewarded with a wonderful unit that was beyond our expectations!

Private getaway with a great beach for snorkeling

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great view, nice and private. The beach just down the trail was amazing.
