Recently upgraded and fully furnished throughout, this spacious condo includes a full kitchen complete with stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished with beautiful new crisp linens, pillows and bed coverings. There is a built in bar off of the kitchen for you to entertain your guests during the big game that you can watch on the large television in the living room. The spacious master bedroom offers a king bed with its own large private master bath and lanai. The second bedroom offers you a queen size bed. Spacious indoor living space, HDTV, free high-speed WiFi, free onsite parking and private access.

Mauna Kai is centrally located in Princeville on the spectacular north shore of Kauai. Surrounded in tropical vegetation and peaceful landscaping within walking distance of the Princeville Shopping Center and also Anini Beach by way of a 12 minute hiking trail. The property is located on the Makai Golf Course and just around the corner from the both the Prince and the Princeville Golf Courses. Princeville has a walking path for all to enjoy, whether it be a morning stroll or a romantic sunset walk. For families there is park within walking distance.

● Housekeeping is provided once per week during complete week stays.

● NO SMOKING in unit/house as well as the balcony. Any violation of the smoking policy will incur a $200.00 fine plus the cleaning costs necessary to remove smoke odors from the unit/house and/or linens.
● NO PETS ALLOWED. Any violation of this policy will incur a $200.00 fine plus the cleaning costs. Service animals may be accepted with prior approval. (One service animal per room as maximum). There will be an extra cost for additional cleaning.
● Quiet hours are observed from 9 pm-8 am. Violators will be charged a $200 fine. This property may use NoiseWare technology to ensure the comfort and security of the guest. Tampering with the device is strictly prohibited and will result in a $200 fine.
● Please note: We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, as well as stolen or damaged items that occur while on the premises, its facilities, or parking lots.
● Traveler must be at least 21 years of age to make a reservation.
● State Identification Card or Driver License copy will be requested upon booking.

Great accommodation even if different from pictures

Beware ! The pictures you see are not necessarily the accommodation you will get, which was the case for us. However, we were happy with the accommodation we got, it was big and overall well maintained and clean. ( we had some issues at the beginning : holes in mosquito screens, some broken jalousie windows, dirty pillows, dirty floor, and worn out pans. However customer service was 10/10, they replied quickly and solved all those issue the same day). Apart from those, our stay was great. Great kitchen to cook, great location to explore Kauai. Quiet and safe neighborhood.

Different unit, but great stay

We had a completely different unit from what is shown in these photos, but it worked out better for us. We got a 2 bed / 2 bath 1st floor condo that was walking distance to the beach. These condos are located in a tourist community near the Westin. You can also walk to the park which has a farmer's market, yoga, and outdoor fitness. The condo was a bit dusty, but kitchen was well equipped. They did provide beach towels, which we appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Nice place but has not "stunning views" as advertised!

We enjoyed our stay. The condo is spacious and comfortable, walking distance to the beach, shopping center and restaurants. I thought that the advertising was deceiving because we didn't get the condo that we initially reserved. The pictures on VRBO did not match with the actual property and there were NOT "stunning views" as the headline indicated on VRBO. The condo was located on a first floor with no views at all. They need to change the description of the property.

Overall the condo was fine, although it is not the condo displayed in the listing it had a similar floor plan. Lovely pool and well furnished kitchen. The windows in the primary bedroom were missing some louvres and the wind and rain came in through the openings.

What a great place to stay in paradise!

I brought 4 teenagers with me to stay in Mauna Kai for a little over a week. The condo was very spacious and in a wonderful community. The beds were very comfortable and the location was perfect, right in the heart of Princeville on Kauau’s North Shore. We will definitely be back!!
