Alright if you're alright with "not terrible" fine print
This unit was alright. Iâd forewarn anyone staying here that the images and description feature choice omissions which can be confusing and misleading.Photos are strategically taken from the one exact angle that omits the eyesore of a wall which is really what youâll see more of. Bed was hard, lumpy and for us very uncomfortable. Donât expect what you pay on VRBO per night to be your total cost. You WILL pay an extra 50 per night on top of that in additional resort fees for each day you stay, which is apparently buried in âthe fine printâ but wasnât clearly stated at the time we booked. In the room, everything is superficially clean. Behind/around furniture isn't so clean. We did come across 2 cockroaches.The fan didnât work and the light for it was controlled by the other part of this "Lock off" unit so we were woken up at 5/6am to a light which the other unit could control. Be warned It is a LONG walk to the unit with steep incline, or youâll wait for a golf cart.The HBR will not tend to your room. Only the property manager can.However when we contacted the manager they donât answer their phones, only text, and it was at least a 24 hour delay or more. The responses were usually something like âwe will look into itâ but no actual solution or fix.I absolutely plan to go back to Princeville and possibly even this resort again, but I certainly would choose a different unit and property manager for my stay there in the future.
