This cosy two-bedroom coastal home captures everything there is to love about a traditional Tasmanian beach getaway. The property has a relaxed holiday-shack feel and a wonderful outlook across the water towards beautiful Primrose Sands Beach. A walking track directly out the front of the property leads down to the beach, making it easy to enjoy a morning stroll, a refreshing swim or a relaxing afternoon by the water. It is an ideal choice for a family of four, two couples or anyone wanting to slow down and enjoy a few peaceful days by the coast.

Stepping inside, you’ll find an easy and practical layout with both bedrooms positioned along the left-hand side of the home. The main bedroom features a comfortable queen bed, while the second bedroom contains two single beds, making the property ideal for up to four guests. Portable heaters are available in both bedrooms for cooler Tasmanian evenings.

The bathroom is conveniently located near the entrance and includes a wide vanity, toilet and renovated shower. It is simple, fresh and functional, with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

At the centre of the home is the fully equipped kitchen, providing everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. There is a gas cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, double sink, fridge and a good selection of cookware, pots, pans, crockery and utensils. Whether you’re preparing an easy breakfast before heading to the beach or cooking dinner after a day exploring the coast, the kitchen has you covered. Please note that there is no coffee machine at the property.

Just off the kitchen is the dining area, providing a comfortable space to enjoy meals together. The adjoining lounge offers a welcoming place to relax, with a TV for quieter evenings at home. The home receives plenty of natural warmth and sunshine through its windows during the day, while the wood heater in the living room provides excellent warmth throughout the property during the cooler months. Firewood is supplied, along with matches, kindling and fire lighters to help get you started.

The real highlight of the property is the deck extending from the dining area. With a beautiful outlook across the water and towards the beach, this is the place you’ll want to spend your time. The deck enjoys fantastic sunshine and provides a wonderful spot for a morning cuppa, an afternoon drink or simply sitting back and taking in the peaceful coastal surroundings.

Just off the driveway is an additional covered entertaining area with a barbecue, table, outdoor lounges and an extra fridge. It provides another casual space to gather, cook and enjoy the laid-back beach-house atmosphere.

Laundry facilities are located in the outdoor shed, where guests will find both a washing machine and dryer. This makes longer stays easy, particularly for families spending plenty of time swimming and exploring the beach.

There is plenty of off-street parking in the driveway, with room for a couple of vehicles directly outside the house.

Guests have full access to the property. There are no shared spaces or areas that are off-limits during your stay.

The local Primrose Sands store is handy for basic supplies and coffee, although we recommend doing your main grocery shopping in Sorell before arriving. Sorell is approximately 25 minutes away and has major supermarkets, shops, cafes and other services.

Hobart CBD is approximately 40 minutes away by car, making Primrose Sands peaceful enough to feel like a genuine coastal escape while still being within easy reach of the city.

A car is strongly recommended when staying in Primrose Sands. The area is a relaxed coastal community and having your own vehicle will make it much easier to access shops, explore surrounding beaches and visit nearby towns.
The property has a private driveway with convenient off-street parking and enough room for approximately two vehicles.
Sorell is around a 25-minute drive and is the best place to stock up on groceries and other essentials. Hobart CBD is approximately 40 minutes away by car.

Please note that there is no Wi-Fi at the property.

This is a comfortable, well-kept traditional beach shack rather than a modern home, offering a relaxed coastal atmosphere, beautiful water views and plenty of natural sunshine.

The kitchen includes a dishwasher but no coffee machine. We recommend purchasing groceries in Sorell before arriving.

A wood heater warms the main living area, with firewood, matches, kindling and fire lighters supplied to get you started. Portable heaters are also available in both bedrooms and the living room.

A washing machine and dryer are located in the outdoor shed.
