    Les propriétaires résident sur place dans la maison principale. Les clients doivent être en mesure de monter les marches et sur le sol. Le parking est dans la rue. Les clients marcheront environ 100 mètres jusqu'à la maison d'hôtes privée. Besoin de marcher sur l'écorce.

Great Cottage on a great property

This is our second time staying at this great little venue. The owners were communicative and promptly addressed VRBO challenges that provided incorrect details relating to the check in. We will stay here next year on our annual visit to see family in Poway. The cottage lives larger than the square footage with plenty of room for dinner with our kids and grandson.

Quaint, Quiet Cottage

The cottage was everything the listing said it was. We stayed the weekend to attend our Grandsons 1st Birthday party. Very clean, quiet and cozy. Child and Dod friendly with a really nice open area. Emailed the host and got a quick responce. Very pleased with our stay!!

The rules when you arrive are 3 pages long. The pool and hot tub are advertised as heated. They are not. You have to ask the owner and if it is convenient he will turn the heat on but it takes hours to warm up. The roof leaked when it rained and you cannot put anything on the kitchen counters for fear of staining. Would not stay again. Also no guests allowed.

Nice Short Getaway

Very unique villa! We had a good stay. It was as nice villa as decided last minute to do a quick weekend trip to San Diego area. The only negative is the cleanliness of the property. Lots cobwebs and very dirty environment around the villa. Could really use anything because of it was so dusty and dirty. The inside of the villa was very clean. We were surprised though that because we couldn't turn the thermostat below 76 degrees, there were not fans we could (1 or 2) that we could use..that would have been an appreciate add for that situation.

A basic and convenient place to stay

This rental was clean, and nicely furnished. Communication with the host was good, and he was great about fixing a screen that we found to be damaged upon arrival. However, the rental was quite sparse on some things. For example, we would not have had enough towels if there had been 4 of us (as originally planned), and there was no soap or shampoo, etc. in the shower. So plan to bring your own. The yard has a nice pool area right outside the front door, which is shared with another vacation rental. The overall yard has nice trees and plants and multiple sitting areas, but generally could benefit from some TLC.

Good stay, but some minor issues.

Overall, our stay was a good one, but there were some minor issues... The WiFi was very weak and inconsistent. The Roku and our Firestick kept freezing, and we couldn't get online sometimes. We finally moved the wireless repeater up high in the main room and it got better, but still was weak and cut out occasionally. Lots of of "unnecessary stuff" around in the kitchen and curio cabinets. We had ants marching through one of the bedrooms, but took care of them with the provided spray. Water pressure at the bathroom sink was only a trickle. Whoever was staying in the main house had a dog that roamed to property. He was very friendly (and we are "dog people," so that was OK), but could have been a serious problem if you have issues with dogs. The online info was also incorrect. VRBO said to park on the street and put trash outside the cabin. Host said to put trash in cans at the street, and when we arrived, there was a car back in the space where we were told to park (we would have blocked it in). After messaging the host, we were told it was OK to block the car. The toilet ran and we had to "jiggle" it constantly. When we messaged the host, we were told that they work fix it AFTER we left, as they didn't want to disturb our "privacy." Given that we were never in the cabin during the day, we couldn't understand why this was an issue. Anyway... Again, all these were minor, and we found the accommodations to be fine for our needs... It's just that the little stuff bugged us some.

What a nightmare! Do yourselves a favor and never stay here. I booked this place with my girlfriend and her seven-year-old daughter and our dog. Check in was pretty late at 5 PM so we asked if we could check in earlier and this guy Curt responded and said yes at 4 o’clock. So we get there six minutes early and there is no one there and the unit is dirty and has not been cleaned yet. I messaged the host and waited and messaged him my phone number and wait for over 30 minutes and he never responded so we left. It was Easter weekend and we had to find another place last minute. The host Curt responds 4 and a half hours later and says since we were there six minutes early the cleaners couldn’t finish their job therefore he will not issue a refund. There was no apologies, no remedies, nothing. After battling back-and-forth through text he did agree to refund me half but I said no because no services were not rendered and I tried to remedy the situation the best I could. Throughout the whole dialogue that I had with this host Curt he was very argumentative and disrespectful. He was not accommodating at all and not understanding at all and actually told me that communicating with me was actually costing him time and money. What a jerk. And also beware of VRBO or homeaway because they basically said that they cannot refund any money without the hosts permission. I am now having to file a dispute with my credit card company and possibly go to small claims court because of this.

We booked six nights for two adults and three children. The pool was fine. The home itself is worn down. The tile in the house is broken, unlevel, and a tripping hazard. The kitchen needs to be refreshed and out of date food items thrown out and new kitchen pans and cooking utensils purchased. Towels are all old and mismatched. The dining table chairs are rickety and there is not enough seating for five people to eat at the dining table. The place is advertised as sleeping five but there is one king bed (uncomfortable) and two twins. The couches are not sofa beds so it should be advertised as sleeping four. Check in was confusing. Upon check in there was no toilet paper and the bedding had stains. There was trash in the parking area.The manager/owner did send replacement bedding and toilet paper the next day. The biggest issue was general lack cleanliness and possible bug issues. Upon check in we observed a few fleas on the ground (jumping) and killed then. We should have left then and there but decided to give it a chance. My wife woke on day three covered in bug bites. We thought they were bed bugs due to possible bed bug casings on the mattress. We left early on day four. Manager/owner said they hired an exterminator and said there was no evidence of bed bugs or fleas on the property (I guess we imagined jumping insects upon walking in) and refused a partial refund. We felt this place was over priced, gross, and worn out. Stay somehwere else.

Great for a Family!

Stayed at this cottage as a family of 4 with 2 young children and it was perfect for our needs. The outdoor space is wonderful & wish our plans allowed for us to enjoy it more. Curt, the owner, was very hospitable and easy to contact for questions. The one thing that would make it even more exceptional would be some small amenities like shampoo, body wash/ bar soap, etc. (More of a suggestion than an issue). Would stay again with my family!

Like a mini-poolside resort!

Wonderful respite from the heat! Beautifully landscaped grounds surrounding a pool & hot tub. Spacious guest house. Helpful, gracious & responsive hosts - even brought out extra pool floats for our family. Also loved the location near (about 30min to) a dog-friendly beach good for boogie boarding (Solana) & great shops & restaurants.

We booked a day at safari Park and decided to book this place to hang out for a couple of days after. Beautiful guest house and property. The pool was really nice and clean and my kids really enjoyed it. The owners were very good at communicating and provided a free bottle of wine. Great family place. Would definitely stay here again. This was our 2nd time staying at this property. We had a nice relaxing time. Our son loves being in the pool and my husband and I can’t get enough of the hot tub in the chilly weather.

Beautiful property!

This was exactly what we were looking for; a quiet relaxing staycation with a pool that was private vs. a hotel. We wanted to travel safe during this Covid-19 pandemic. We absolutely loved this property. They had such a beautiful backyard with a pool & jacuzzi & many more setups, all lite up with lots of lights all around the huge backyard, that I found to be breathtaking seeing it all lite up at night. I would recommend adding that photo for others to see here what they are missing out on. Thank you so much Curt & to your lovely family for a great hospitality! We loved Joey the dog as well! Our 5 year old son loved how supper friendly he was. We definitely plan on coming back soon!

Perfect for a quick getaway

Wonderful little guest house with a full kitchen that allowed me to cook healthy dinners during our getaway. Curt and Isabella were gracious hosts and have created such a cozy environment in the guesthouse. It is spacious and we had access to the pool and jacuzzi all week. The kids had no issues connecting remotely to complete their schoolwork using the guest wifi. They are dog friendly and our pup loved playing with theirs. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect "shelter in place" location!

Curt was a wonderful host; he was very accommodating and quick to reply. The guest house is located behind the main house, situated on a large, beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood. The house was perfect for our family of 4. There are many cozy seating areas, perfect for relaxing and hanging out. We enjoyed sitting outside and also around the pool area. I highly recommend this property for the perfect location to shelter in place; close to Poway Lake hiking trail (plus it is only a 30 minute drive to San Diego beaches and activities). It is private and feels like a true getaway!

Love this cottage!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The pool was beautiful! We are looking forward to our next time visiting! The owners were very helpful and quickly responsive.

Amazing

We had such an amazing experience with this family and their wonderful property. We were attended to the second we got there and had great communication with the owner. Overall, I would surely recommend them to anyone as we had a lovely stay!

Birthday FUN!

My husband and our friends and I enjoyed a day by the pool and a lovely dinner. The house and the area was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the home owners were pleasant and accommodating. We had the BEST TIME!! Thank you so much🙏
