Portsmouth, RI. Enjoy direct access to the beach. Unobstructed waterfront views. Enjoy the colorful morning sunrises and the glowing sunsets from this one of a kind cottage property. Whether inside or outside, this cottage is the ultimate for a relaxing getaway. You will enjoy a clear view from the 3 gliding patio doors that lead you directly onto the wrap around deck. Here you will enjoy comfortable outdoor seating for dining and pleasure. Every room in this cottage has a water view. This property sleeps a maximum of 5. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed. Bedroom 2 has a full bed. A queen size pull out sofa is located in the cozy living room.
Fully equipped kitchen. Air conditioning throughout. Just a short walk to the famous Flo's Clam Shack and Shultzy's Ice Cream and restaurant. Walking distance to the Sunset Café, Local z , and Trembley's Restaurant. Only a 15 minute drive to downtown Newport.

Just returned from our trip and our stay at the cottage was so relaxing! The cottage is well appointed with coffee, snacks, a mix of beverages that are great if you don't get a chance to get to the grocery store before checking in. The check-in/check-out process was super easy. The area is quiet and peaceful, and a great place to enjoy a walk along the water. We had the opportunity to try some great nearby restaurants, and the location was also great for day trips to Mystic, Newport, New Bedford, Westport....so very convenient. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage!

The location couldn’t be better — right by the water with stunning views and easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions. Such a relaxing stay with beautiful views! We spent a lot of time at the Naval Base, but tried to enjoy the cottage as much as we could! It has all the amenities you need and did I mention the views?!!! We can’t wait to stay here again.

This was the perfect house for our family of five to rent for a long weekend while we attended family 50th anniversary events in Newport! Nicely decorated, clean and located on the water! The host thought of everything..,fridge was full of beverages and snacks! Would definitely rent again!

Our second year here- great house and amenities. Impeccably clean. Very comfortable. Location perfect for us. Really enjoyed the deck overlooking the bay. Cooked some nice meals in the kitchen. Will likely stay again.

Lovely house and very well-equipped! It’s right on the water and has an amazing view. It is also right on a road, which wasn’t too busy on weekdays, so there is some car noise when you’re sitting on the porch but it wasn’t bad and is covered by the sound of the wind and waves in the afternoon. Very easy check in and out process and Suzanne was easy to communicate with. Great AC which was helpful as it was quite hot when we were there.

We had such a great stay at the cottage. Suzanne is a wonderful host, it really seems that she thinks of everything! The cottage itself is beautiful- very clean and comfortable. Just the right size for our family and SO convenient with beach access and walking distance to a lot of different spots to eat. The check in and check out processes were very easy. We were discussing visiting again before we even checked out! :)

Perfect for our girls trip!! The kitchen was stocked beautifully with drinks and some snacks to kick it off. The coffee bar was a very nice touch. The sitting area that looks out on the water...best reading nook ever!! Easy access to so many great eateries, shops and history. We will be back!

Homie and luxurious all in one. Suzanne was a perfect host. We loved the view, which you could see as soon as you opened the front door. The house was beautifully decorated, with small touches to make it feel personal (books, drinks, snacks). The deck was a wonderful place to sit both morning and night (and anytime in between). We stayed as a family of 5, 3 adults, 2 kids (my husband, myself and my mother). Walking distance to several nearby restaurants and ice cream. Location, location, location, you're right on the water, and it doesn't get better than that!

This is a cozy house with a really nice beach decor. Suzanne has it stocked with lots of goodies and plenty of deck furniture, for enjoying the amazing location. Dining for five would be tricky, but that is a minor problem which is easily outweighed by location and owner thoughtfulness! All you need to bring is your luggage, a few herbs and spices, and a desire to relax! We look forward to coming back soon to enjoy this getaway without having other obligations to keep us from enjoying time on the deck with a nice glass of wine!

Sweet Cottage with Breathtaking Waterfront View

The home was immaculate and was well equipped. Bed was one of the most comfortable we ever slept on. The setting gave the sense of sleeping on a boat with the shoreline right out our back door. Although it was a bit chilly to sit on the beach, we enjoyed the walk and sightseeing in Newport and Jamestown. The Animal Toparchy Gardens were fascinating. We would love to rent this"little slice of Heaven" again sometime.

Great Little Home on the Beach

Very Clean and Cozy Home, right on the Beach in Portsmouth, RI. Off Street parking was very easy to use and not crowded during our stay. Check in and check out went smoothly and Owner was very communicative with house rules and to contact if we needed anything during our stay. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would book again!

Right on the Water!

My parents and I really enjoyed our stay here! The house is impeccably clean and modern. The furnishings are beautiful and comfy. We especially loved hanging out on the deck and listening to the ocean - day and night! Easy parking, good AC, water machine, and plenty of towels. The house is right off of a road, but its a quiet neighborhood. Found lots of fun shells and sea glass on the beach! We went to Newport and also took the ferry to Prudence Island - both a short drive away. Overall, great stay - would deff return!

Pristine in every way!

This cottage lacks nothing. We stayed as a couple. The main BR has a queen and the 2d BR looks has a double which sits close to floor and is against a wall. It would be fine for an adult or 1-2 children. The cottage is clearly a recent remodel with fine and comfortable furnishings including cabinets, kitchenware, art work, etc. If you have good weather like we did, you'll want to spend your days on the deck or beach (steps from the cottage). We enjoyed 3 eateries that we could walk to. Flo's, Schultzies and Localz. We only had one question (coffeemaker is Keurig) but Host responded quickly. 30 minute drive into Newport. A short drive to Blithwold Mansion in Bristol which we enjoyed greatly. In sum, you won't be sorry you chose this property as a getaway!

Peaceful water views

Winner!! We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It is adorable, with many thoughtful touches and has extremely comfortable furniture. Although we did a lot of activities in and around Portsmouth and Newport, I could have quite happily sat in the cozy swivel chairs or deck gliders watching the water all day. It is next to a public beach but it is quiet and feels very private. I couldn't be happier about our weekend away. We will happily return to this same cottage. Our hostess was helpful, friendly, and provided thoughtful extras for our enjoyment. She takes excellent care of her property. Unlike other places we've stayed, the checkout process was very easy and had minimal requirements. That was so appreciated! If you're considering this cottage, you'll find it adorable and well-appointed. There is plenty to do right there and other points of interest in and near Newport, Bristol, Middletown, and even Little Compton are a short drive away.
