Sanctuaire de Portland

  • Modern mid century boho chic two bedroom apartment unit in a gorgeous private craftsman bungalow home built in 1910. The unit is spacious, cool and provides ample room for a cozy stay. You will find new appliances in both the bathroom and kitchen. Both bedrooms are outfitted with tempurpedic mattresses and clean linens and towels and accented with local Pendleton prints. Backyard is shared. We do have chickens in the backyard and if you like fresh eggs we are happy to drop off some off. There is a slight additional cost for pets and 5th guest. Please inquire.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The home was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Check-in was seamless and hassle-free, and there was plenty of parking available, which made things even more convenient.The location was excellent—close to great restaurants and coffee shops, making it easy to explore the area. This was the best Vrbo I’ve ever stayed at. We enjoyed the apartment, the art in the apartment, the garden and the chickens. The host was also friendly and helpful. A small issue was the struggle with the TV but it didn’t diminish the experience

Very quick trip, not using a lot of the amenities. However, the unit is very well outfitted and decorated. It’s almost like walking through a beautiful secret garden to get to the door. Will definitely try to stay here again.

The space is very nice, warm and inviting, and very comfortable with quality furnishings and decor, open and cozy at the same time.The host is very warm and friendly, and professional. Very good communicating with guests prior to arrival and during their stay, should they need anything.Highly recommended and we will definitely book again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The space itself was tucked away behind the main house and very private. Very homey and had all the amenities we needed for our 1 week stay. Our host, Veronika, was very responsive and gave us tips on local eats. Parking was easy and the location was close to all where we wanted to go. Also there were cute happy chickens in the backyard.

Everything was clean and neat and an incredibly comfortable space. Great beds, nice bathroom and appreciated tips from the host. Fully functional kitchen for including ice maker. We loved our stay!
