« Rooms are tastefully decorated with beautiful on suite bathroom. Staff very good and breakfast freshly cooked and not from a hot plate. Plenty of takeaways nearby but we are in and it was excellent. Only thing I could say against the Valley was nobody on reception. Road noise was also loud but didn’t really bother us too much. All in all an excellent stay and will be using again as a stop over before catching the ferry to Dublin. Well done The Valley and staff. »

« Happy to have found the Orient B&B for my one night stay in Holyhead, Wales. The manager was very welcoming and informative which made my stay very enjoyable. My single bed room was very clean and functional. The mattress was firm which I prefer. The room had several tall windows with adjustable shutters. « On the upside - great location near the beach, and a good breakfast. On the downside - room for over £210 a night had no window to look through, furniture was old and shabby, evening food in both restaurants was at best ‘average’ (and had many items missing)… Overall - could be better »

« Cramped room with too much furniture (would have been better as a double bed than 2 singles. No hot water, pity because shower room was good 2 tvs for some reason, only small one worked. Owner said it was quirky and he was right. However, it was cheap so alright for 1 night. »

« Excellent facilities for our family base, couldn't have asked for more in terms of quality of location, equipment and entertainment for all including games, media etc. We wanted a location we could use to explore the whole island and we found it worked perfectly. Couldn't have been cleaner, great welcome pack to help you when you first get there, safe parking, great garden grounds to utilise, family friendly and ran by a great couple who are close by for any reassurances you may need. »

« Good location within walking distance of the small village centre, beach, and golf course. The property was a good space with what you need. Bed was comfortable and the place was warm. Cleanliness was an issue, there were still hairs in the bathtub. The shower head holder also did not stay in place which made it difficult to take showers without spraying water everywhere. One toilet roll provided for a week is a bit tight. Overall, would've been a nice space if more attention and care was given...

« The apartment was a bit difficult to find, especially in the dark. Whilst it had everything we needed it was dated and could have benefitted from a deep clean, cobwebs & mould around the windows. The windows also condensed a lot in the morning. None of the heaters worked and only two of the electric storage heaters worked. So we had to prioritise the children’s bedrooms over our bedroom and the lounge. One of the sockets in the kitchen kept blowing the fuse when we tried to use the kettle. When...
