Other things to note
Port St. Lucie is a fascinating city nestled along the eastern coast of Florida, halfway between Miami and Orlando. The city itself is teeming with shopping and dining, interesting bits of Florida history, and whimsical peacocks that were once pets of the rich and famous, but were left to fend for themselves.

The New York Mets hold their spring training here, and the city is home to several big names in the sport.

Megan Fox and Vanilla Ice have lived here at some point.

There are stellar golf courses in Port St. Lucie and you can take a lesson from a PGA pro.
You can visit the Navy Seal Museum and see how the Frogmen are trained and the story of their creation.
