This flat had a great location close to the city and the beach. It was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with good saucepans, cutlery, crockery and glassware.

Ideal location allowing us to walk to most places we needed. A number on the door and instructions for internet access in guest book would have helped. We needed to supply our own toilet paper and linen which was unusual from our other experiences. Might stay again when returning to Port.

Great Location

My family and I have just returned from a week at Talga 5. We were happy with the accommodation and despite the initial smell as you walked in the door each time you returned to the unit, it was clean and relatively well maintained. The accommodation had everything we needed during our stay, including kitchen cookware to cook dinner each night and breakfast each morning. The location was perfect and we were able to walk down to town beach and to the shops. The garage parking was not accessible due to the combination of a dodgy roller door remote, the tiny garage space not big enough for an SUV (only a very small car would fit in the park) and another guest/resident parking at the end of the driveway, making it impossible to access the garage. Street parking was fine though. We were able to park right in front of the unit block on most occasions. Overall, we were very comfortable and believe that the unit was perfectly priced for what you get.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Talga 5 was well-equipped (only 1 frypan but heaps of saucepans and enough plates/bowls/cutlery if you use the dishwasher am/pm). Unfortunately no hair dryer. There was plenty of dishwasher tablets, washing powder, and toilet paper for our stay (no soap or hand wash in the bathroom though so bring your own). We found the place to be very clean and was a comfortable place to stay. The apartment block was nice and quiet and location is great as walking distance to town, beach and short drive to many locations. No access to garage so street parking required (was fine morning and evening but if you came back during the day the street was full of cars as so close to town so bad to park around the corner). The apartment block door lock was incredibly hard to open but hopefully that would be resolved as we reported it to Wiseberry after checkout. Would stay again if visiting Port Macquarie.

So we bought air freshener spray and had to use it repeatedly to eliminate the odour as much as possible. The microwave still have grease inside. The property had been superficially cleaned. It was a spacious property in a good location, with parking, decor and furniture dated.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was very disappointed with this accommodation. It was not well cleaned, the unit requires a great deal of maintenance - repairs to cupboards in the kitchen and bathroom, light globes missing if blown out, tap washers needing replacing meant the pipes rattled each time you used them and dripped constantly. There were no Covid appropriate provisions - no hand wash or washing up detergent, no tissues etc. There were no microwave appropriate cookware. I could go on. Even as a self contained short stay venue there are sone basic things that should be present.
