Mag Beach Refuge - Bayfront
Ground level, one story home on the main road of Magnolia Beach with unobstructed views of the bay with no steps to come in the home. Inviting open floor plan perfect for gathering and enjoying each other's company. The Master Bedroom has it's private seating area, on-suite bathroom and fantastic views of the bay. With two queen size beds and 2 twin size beds, 6 guests will sleep comfortably and the screed porch will be the preferred place to hang out and take in the coastal life and make memories on your new favorite place.
Access code and information will be sent to guest once the house is ready for their group on Check-In Day. Host will require to receive a picture of the guest ID sent directly to the host before release access info.
Manager is always nearby and will be able to assist guest through their stay. For the protection of our property and our guests our property has exterior surveillance cameras that are recording 24/7.
Magnolia Beach is a rural community of Port Lavaca TX, located along the shore of Lavaca Bay and Matagorda Bay. The charm of Magnolia Beach ("Mag" called by locals) is to come enjoy the outdoors. A true disconnect type of place ideal for fishing, hunting, boating, kayaking, biking, birding or just beach combing. You'll be able to have incredible viewings of wildlife with more than 400 species of birds identified and spectacular sunrises and sunsets. Although the area is visited by many, it has kept a sense of community and not of a highly touristic area, a quality that makes it a hidden gem, a true destination off the beaten path. Come and enjoy a Magnolia Beach Getaway!
This home is walking distance to the public beach, public boat ramp and great fishing spots. Having a vehicle will be necessary to get to restaurants and essential shops.
-Bring groceries and condiments to prepare meals, kitchen is well equipped and most restaurants are 15 to 30 minutes away.
-Water shoes are a MUST to walk on the beach, our beach is a shelly beach.
-Mosquito repellent and sunblock is essential for all your outdoor activities.
-Bring your big toys (Boat, Golf Cart, Kayaks, Bikes, Fishing Gear). Currently there are no nearby places to rent big toys. Four Wheelers are NOT allowed on our beach, you will be subject to fines.
-House does not have a private pier.
Must be 23 years or older to be able to book the property. Must send a picture of a valid ID directly to host. Host will not give access to the guest without having received ID.
Having more guests than what the reservation was made for is a violation to the Reservation agreement and House Rules, charges of $75/per additional person per night will be assessed or immediate termination of your stay and there will be NO refund.
No smoking of ANY kind in the house, screened porch or 15' of exterior doors. If smell or burnt marks are found in the property, host will seek a $500 cleaning fee plus any additional costs of replacing the damaged property.
Smoking Marijuana on the property grounds will result in immediate termination of guests' stay, without refund.
We have no tolerance for criminal behavior. Any illegal activities, acts of violence, loud arguments or fighting will result in immediate termination of your stay and there will be no refund. The same is true if the police is called to the unit.
The space will be in clean and working condition. No compensation will be given for non-working items outside the owner's control, including but not limited to: power outages, internet outages, etc. For items inside the owner's control, owner will make every attempt to rectify any problems that may occur. It is Guest's responsibility to notify the owner IMMEDIATELY if there are any problems and allow owner to rectify the issue. No refunds or other compensations will be given for problems owner is able to rectify within a reasonable time frame or if the issue was notified to the owner after the guest stay ended.
Guests will be responsible for costs of any repairs for problems caused by actions of Guest or any one in their group.
NO PETS allowed. Host will ask guests to remove the pet from the property for the duration of their stay. Pet penalty of $250.00 will be assessed to be paid immediately to the Host and/or guest may be asked to leave the property without refund.
Check-In is at 4:00 PM and Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Time before Check-In or after Check-Out can only be arranged the night before. In the case that extra hours are approved, guests agree to pay $30 per extra hour. Payment must be received by Host before the additional time can be in effect.
Do not dispose of fish carcasses at the property trash can. Clean fish by the bay and feed fish/birds in the water with carcasses.
Quiet hours are from 11 PM - 8 AM. This rule does not apply during Holidays such as Independence Day or New Year’s Eve, the whole community will be celebrating.
Guest and guest's invitees shall fully defend, indemnify and hold harmless the owners, managers and business entity acting on behalf of the owners from any and all claims, lawsuits, demands, causes of action, liability, loss, damage and/or injury, of any kind whatsoever (including without limitation all claims for monetary loss, property damage, equitable relief, personal injury and/or wrongful death) for the use of the property as vacation home, amenities, facilities, grounds, or any equipment provided used during guests stay while on our property or outside of our property. The indemnification applies to and includes, without limitation, the payment of all penalties, fines, judgements, awards, decrees, attorneys' fees, and related costs or expenses, and any reimbursements for all legal fees, expenses, and costs incurred by it.
