« Proximity to the train station is quite nice and the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this hotel because the room itself was not well maintained. There was black mould growing in the shower because it wasn’t properly sealed. I also couldn’t find a pillow that was very comfortable. But the most frustrating part was there was an intermittent and very loud rumbling sound in my room that kept me awake almost the entire night. I turned off my AC but that didn’t stop it. The...

« Stayed in a family room with mini kitchen. Ample parking, very close to the main street with restaurants and bars, just a walkover to get there. Cathedral and park next door. Lovely and welcoming staff. »

« Charming hotel but there was no heating in the bathroom which was very cold (10 C). You can feel the freezing cold through the windows and walls. »

« Lovely friendly staff, always remembering that I stayed before. We get the room we have requested. We order a vegetarian roast which is outstanding, food delicious and hot. Plenty of parking. Depending where the room is you can hear the traffic going past in the evening & mornings but overall alovely stay. That's why we keep going back and also you have a choice of breakfast part of the deal. »

« Parfait »

« Very nice room (just need more attention to cleaning the floors) and good burger meal in the pub - thank you! »

« We had a great stay, with everything we needed. Exceeded expectations and will certainly book again if in the area. Very convenient with on site parking and an easy walk into the city centre. »

« There were a few little problems (tv, bad odour from sink) but the staff very helpful and friendly. Location is great! »

« The place was very accessibly to the city centre. The room was very clean, but some of the decor was a little tired. The bed was so comfortable. Lits of hot water for the shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good value for money »

« Very good comms and helpful owner. Just the accommodation required. Very good indeed and we all slept well! The pink pub opposite was also very welcoming! »
