« our stay at the shepherds hut at the retreat was absolutely fantastic. Stunning location, full of character and charm. Loved be surrounded by, horse , donkeys and alpacas. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We will definitely be returning here soon. Nicky and Jules »

« Great pub accommodation above a charming old inn. Obviously there is some noise from the bar but it wasn’t intrusive enough to prevent me from getting to sleep. King size four poster bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Only concern was the very hot towel rail adjacent to the loo, I’d hate to lean against it whilst having sampled one to many of the ales downstairs. »

"The room leaves something to be desired, when we arrived it was very very difficult to find the location. The door outside the room was open. There is an unpleasant smell. In addition, the carpet is very dirty. There are cracks in the wall. What about the bathroom fan, there is so much foam, surely contaminated. The bed not very clean. In addition, our room is located opposite a front door. It's not worth the number of stars given. For deluxe room!"
