« Beautiful hotel, super friendly staff, great location🙏 »

« We had an excellent stay at The Portland. Gabriela could not have been more helpful in advance with clear instructions and sorting a parking permit for £5 for 24 hours. The safe parking was around the posh Clarence Square not too far away. There were other places in Zone 10 too. Gabriela allowed us early access to our wonderful room (No 6) because we had a memorial service to attend and wanted to sort things before we set forth. The simple breakfast was fine with orange juice, fruit,...

« Very friendly staff - superb accomodation and food ! When I will next go to Swindon, this is where I will stay again. »

« A clean compact room, a bit chilly the night we stayed and no heat from the radiator which wasn’t great. The bathroom is more of a wet room - the shower doesn’t have a tray so the water goes pretty much over everything, a real detractor for me. Bed was comfy and there was kettle and small cups to make a hot drink. Good location, just off the Main Street. »

« the room was very small with a wardrobe seperating the toilet from the bedroom so not even a door and opposite the toilet is the sink and then the shower with a shower curtain no obvious sign of the extractor working above the toilet.dated and not a place that should charge the amount they do, »
