« This was a great location for both the town of Salida and also the monarch Mountain Ski area. The house was comfortable and the heating worked very well. The kitchen was pretty well appointed and the hot tub was well used by our group. »

« We loved our stay at River Haven. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals. We found some great hiking trails in the area and enjoyed soaking it the hot tub at night after a day of hiking. The deck was quite big with comfy chairs to sit in and a nice Weber grill. « We absolutely loved this place! It was cozy and clean. There was bottled water and chocolate covered almonds on the nightstand when we arrived. The grounds were nice with tables outside and chairs by our door where we could have coffee in the morning.There are pretty hanging flower baskets outside the rooms. The place is on the river with a mountain view out back. There is a pond with goldfish. The restaurant next door was great. Matt was a wonderful host. We hope to return on our next...

« This is a HIDDEN GEM! The property was in our "happy place" -- running creek and woods. My family LOVED IT. We couldn't get enough of the creek sound. We left the windows open at night for that soothing sound of the water. The property was clean, and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The "hidden treasures" found on the property for character was a great touch, especially down along the creek sides. Again, kids LOVED it, as did the adults. »
