« I wish I did a little more research before booking. This lodge used to be a hostel and still seems more like a hostel than lodge. It would be perfect if I wasn’t traveling with a toddler who wants to get into everything. Location is about a five minute drive from the beach. We saw a ton of deer. It’s a little ways to the shipwreck and lighthouse. Great for trail access. Overall, if you’re traveling with small children or folks who overheat easily, maybe not the best place. « I picked this hotel cause its pet-friendly and within an hour's drive to point reyes seashore. The unit we got had a fully equipped kitchenette. Parking is plenty and free but there is no A/C. Its summer, we were all sweaty from driving around and i was dying when we checked in at 930pm. A fan wouldve been nice. They had heating but i imagine its useless in summers for most people (but im from san diego so the hubby said it could just be us). All the windows were also also closed when we opened...
