« Our stay at Cochecton was undoubtedly one of the best we’ve had. It was the perfect winter wonderland getaway. When we weren’t outside watching our dog frolic through the snow, we were inside staying warm and cozy. There was no shortage of things to do. We played board games, listened to records, watched some of our favorite movies on vhs, and even took naps! Can you believe it? Naps! As in more than one nap! « Rented the house with a three-generation family group for a long weekend to attend a wedding in a nearby town. We all loved the house…plenty of historic charm with modern comforts in kitchen and bathrooms, and a gorgeous setting. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch to read, chat or drink coffee with the sound of the rushing creek in the background, and had fun playing horseshoes, pool, and exploring the creek. « The mobile home was roomy and comfortable, in the woods a minute or two from Rt 17 (easy to find), with the added beneft of free roaming chickens (outdoors, of course!) and helpful hosts. It's an hour from Binghamton, and much more reasonable than hotels in Binghamton during graduation! »

« The operator responded promptly to communications and was helpful and cordial. The house was clean, neat, cozy, and homey. Not elegant, but casual, relaxed and family style. Just right for us. If I go up that way again, I will definitely stay there. As a matter of fact, knowing that place is there makes it more likely I will return and spend more time there. It couldn't have been much better. »
