It took us some time to find a hotel because on Google maps the honey B hotel has a wrong location. So we asked the locals for the address that was in the confirmation and then we found it. It wasn’t downtown as expected, it was a couple minutes away located on fifth Avenue at the part it turns into a market street.Totally safe during the day but not safe to walk home at night. To get into the hotel you got to ring a doorbell, which is typical in Mexico. The person behind the counter was friendly but spoke barely English and just gave me a paper with some handwritten numbers on. The property is in good condition, three stories high with a pleasing interior design. There is no elevator. The rooms are like little tiny apartments with a kitchenette, a high top bar, a couch area and a balcony. The pillows for the balcony furniture were missing. The safe in the room did not work. The bed was very comfortable. The rooftop on the third floor has a pretty view some nice furniture and a jacuzzi like tub that we didn’t use because the water was too cold.
