« We have stayed here twice and the staff, cleanliness, hotel ambiance and amenities are excellent. Check in staff was very friendly and efficient. Breakfast is inexpensive and the staff is working hard to keep food refreshed and they were very pleasant. The hotel and eating areas are nicely decorated and comfortable too. We are happy to have found this hotel for when we visit family in Kalamazoo. »

« My fourth stay at the Kalamazoo House didn't disappoint. As always, Amy is a delight and the breakfasts are a great start to a day. The room was in excellent condition and everything worked as expected. Can't wait to have an excuse to come back. »

« While the staff was lovely, the property was not. There was a bloody-looking handprint on the mattress and on the bed frame. There was so much dust behind the bed (my phone fell back there and I hat to get it). There was a gash in the seat of the shower (I was given a handicapped room) which was pleather. The corners of the room and windows were just disgusting. Was it mold? Was it dirt? I have no idea. Lightbulbs were half missing/ burned out. The refrigerator was propped up haphazardly....

« We were told that the rooms had kitchenettes, which, in fact they did not, and then we paid for four days. My husband went into the room, seen that there was bugs turned around and walked out, went to the desk and asked for a refund and we were told no that was $500 that they took from us that they refuse to refund even after we told them to keep the money for the one night and a refund the remaining days they told us no. »
