« There are so many great things about AV Suites. The staff was great! Well trained but not robots. Very friendly and personable. They made us feel very welcome and really seem to take pride in the resort.
First the views are incredible and stunning. Standing on the balcony of our room was amazing.
We stayed for 9 days and the room was big enough for us. We didnt feel cramped up on the 1 day it rained.
There are a few things I wish that I had known before we stayed there. Maybe other reviews...
« Séjour de quatre nuits dans cet hôtel. Les chambres sont mal isolées et auraient besoin d'un coup de rafraîchissement. Le service du restaurant est long et le personnel peu aimable. Le cadre de l'hôtel est agréable, aux pieds des montagnes, mais demeurent néanmoins bruyant la nuit. La navette gratuite jusqu'à puerto galera est très utile. L'équipe de l'accueil est très agréable et disponible. »
« L'hébergement n'était plus à l'adresse indiquée mais 50 m plus loin. L'accès est plutôt compliqué car de la route principale,la pente est très très raide. Quand on demande, on trouve assez bien le lieu. La femme qui gère est super et arrangeante. Il faut prendre des moyens de locomotion pour bouger mais comme partout. Notre chambre était impeccable. »
« Great time, extremely friendly hospitable staff! The place itself is maybe for younger guests, loving partying and various musical pleasures. Just seconds from the beach itself, and a whole bouquet of different restaurants with excellent food. Luxurious access to guided snorkeling tours, etc. Bring mosquito repellants with you - these insects could bite around sunset and an hour or so after, if you would want to be on the porch. Fantastic place, great owners! »
« Glad I booked here -- it's definitely one of the better hotels in White Beach. Friendly service, good A/C, warm showers, security, location. Brought my own pocket wifi. Wish I had booked dive in advance - they didn't have availability for beginner by the time I showed up.
Notes on White Beach area:
- good LTE service
- known for night life, water activities, etc. If you want more quiet, western resort style, sabang is better area.
- 20 minute ride to town, i.e. the closest ATM. »
« Good location, just a few steps from the ocean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cafe Marco was a step above most of the food establishments, as was the Dawei Tea House, both linked to the hotel. Rooms were clean and modern. Only negative was that the advertised free parking was not free if you book through an on-line service, like Orbitz. We had a power failure the first night and it knocked out WiFi for the remainder of our stay. Same for Cafe Marco and Dawei Tea House. But that was beyond...

« They were very accommodating, free brewed coffee and water, free rides when we asked and a person with disability room that was first rate. The pool was very clean and we'll kept. A wonderful experience. »
« Room was clean but very basic, no fridge, no kettle….. these 2 items are very essential for people who loves cold or hot drink without the need of getting out of the room. No hot water twice…. First episode was reported and fixed but did not last longer and no hot water again!!!
The bed is very comfortable, but the top sheet or kumot is so thin, not a good one for someone who love to sleep in a cold room.

Cleanliness definitely isn’t a top priority here. I stayed for 3 nights and had the same sheets and 1 small blanket for two people. The water would not work half the time, thankfully they did provide a bucket and ladle. « A very good located hotel right in the middle of everything white beach has to offer.. And right on the beach.. Only a few bad things to note;..'the electrics were hanging out of walls.. The room only had 1 bulb and 4 fittings.. The shower only dribbled, the sink did,nt work.. The tv did,nt work, the air con had a 1inch gap all around it so we could see outside, the toilet was not attatched, there was a funny smell which was the stained mattress, and the room was only cleaned after a week n...
