« Logistically superb - lots of walks, beach, at low tide you can go rock pooling etc. Bus stop right outside - which when the weather isn't great is a useful option to get around. There are small bus routes that loop certain areas - and you get a running commentary so worth jumping on. Hotel is fabulous - views are amazing, food is delicious, and good value, room were exceptional (you must like the sound of the sea) and the staff are kind, informative and go above and beyond. »

« Daisybank cottage is a must for anyone looking to stay in the New Forest. The room was perfect - spacious, spotless and huge fluffy towels in the bathroom. Lovely touches in the room and so thoughtful. Great breakfast and friendly welcome. Its perfect for various walks without the car to get to start points, and close to pubs and eateries nearby. I will be recommending to friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful stay. »

« Nous avons apprécié notre bref séjour dans cet endroit située en plein cœur de la New Forest. Endroit typique avec possibilité de voir des chevaux. Restaurant avec des plats de qualité pour le dîner du soir. Un petit déjeuner anglais et délicieux nous a été servi. Bien qu'en rénovation l'établissement est une belle bâtisse avec un grand parking. « We truly had an amazing stay at Balmers Lawn! We got a really good deal for Easter weekend, and it exceeded expectations on every level. The room was only classified as "standard" yet it was huge, lovely big bathroom, and they had put Easter Craft in the room for the kids. « Beautiful hotel with no expense spared on recent fit out with great furnishings. Very comfortable hotel with fantastic staff who's attention to detail is fantastic. I mentioned at lunch that I was Coeliac and laster when we checked in to our room gluten free biscuits were placed on the tea tray. A small detail but I have never experianced this before in an hotel. The food in the restaurant is also first class. Unfortunately we were unable to return on Sunday for lunch as it was fully booked! »
