PROPERTY LAYOUT: Our home was lovingly designed with a nod towards its history. Constructed in 1925, our home was totally remodeled over the years, with all bathrooms remodeled in 2024. Solid hardwood floors throughout, original woodwork, solid wood library...if you enjoy the vibe of historic homes, but with modern amenities, this is the place for you!
Arriving at our home, you're able to enter via the attached garage, or through the front door, with your unique key code. Our home is very private on account of lush vegetation on all sides of the property! On the front porch, to the right is the gas grill, and to the left is the patio seating area.
Once inside our home, to the right is the well stocked kitchen; attached is the colorful breakfast nook, as well as the inviting dining room. Through the dining room you'll arrive in the sun-drenched library (chess, anyone?) Through the library, you'll arrive in the living room, complete with comfy couch, seating area, grand piano, and more. Once through the living room, you'll complete the loop and be back at the front door.
Heading upstairs to the second floor, you'll find 3 bedrooms & two bathrooms. The primary king bedroom to your left has the soaker tub + shower setup. Ahead of the stairs you'll find one of the queen rooms, which is attached to the jack & jill-style bathroom. Down the hall you'll find another king bedroom with office. Heading up to the 3rd floor, you'll find two more bedrooms - one at the front of the house and one on the side. Here you'll find another ensuite bathroom, perfect for privacy! Lastly, on this floor you'll also find the dedicated office and / or baby room, complete with crib.
With the exception of a locked cleaning closet, the entire home is accessible.

Wonderful stay for 3 families who were visiting for an out of town baseball tournament. We had a great experience getting to know Pittsburgh! The location of squirrel Hill was conducive to our needs (seeing sights and playing baseball), parking was user-friendly (even with that car show happening), and the home was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate 3 families. We also really appreciated the chore-free checkout—such a refreshing touch. Would definitely stay here again!

This house is opposite the golf course at Schenley Park. Short walk down the hill to CMU, slightly longer to Forbes&Murry for food, bookstores, etc. Charming breakfast nook, spacious downstairs space, comfortable beds. Nice outdoor space. Good AC. Slept eight very comfortably.

Fourth of July retreat
This was a lovely property for our extended family to gather in Pittsburgh. The hundred-year-old house was beautifully maintained and updated to provide both charm and comfort. With a week of mid-nineties degrees, we were grateful for the air conditioning, which was up to the task. Chad was very responsive to any concerns we had. The grand piano was a delightful addition! The bedrooms were spacious, the property was very clean, and we enjoyed use of the grill. A short walk up the hill to Schenley Park gave us a great place to watch the Fourth of July fireworks, surrounded by the twinkling of fireflies. Altogether, a lovely, serene couple of weeks in Pittsburgh.

Truly a Gem!
Five Stars all the way! If I could give more, I would! The house was clean, well appointed, historic yet updated, charming, and somehow both spacious and cozy. It had all the amenities for cooking and family time while also being within walking distance of coffee shops, restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, and museums. The neighborhood was quiet with side streets that lent themselves to long walks among old growth trees and historic homes. The host was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Fingers crossed the house is available the next time we are in Squirrel Hill! Actually...we will probably plan around the house's availability!

Perfect family stay
This property offered everything we needed for our son’s Air Force Commissioning ceremony at Pitt. My parents, my brother and his family and ours were able to enjoy time together in this perfect home. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, the bathrooms and kitchen modern and up to date. Great House
This was a beautiful house in a very nice neighborhood. We were in town for a family funeral and needed a place close to the funeral activities. The house is just beautiful, well appointed and comfortable,and very roomy. There are very nice restaurants, shops, activities etc. fairly close by.
