After a long day of travel we arrived to find that we were either given the wrong code for the lock or it is inoperable. After attempting to call many times, messaging the host with no response, and contacting vrbo support we had to leave and book a hotel. The next day the host sent one message and offered to give us a refund but has since not responded to any more messages or initiated the refund process. What was supposed to be a fun weekend ended up being a stressful headache with much of our time wasted worrying about where we could stay. I am still unsure of how I will get my money back.
