« We had a great time in this lovely Cottage. We loved to watch birds and squirrels on our balcony. We enjoyed playing with the owner´s dog Ralph and canoeing on the loch. Portnellan is a great starting Point to reach almost every destination in the Highlands. Our tip for families ist to do the GoApe treetop challenge in Aberfoyle. Enjoy your stay, we did it. »

« Lovely property for a family , with all home comforts. Great location as most towns are an hour drive away at most . We went in Feb so lots of snow, which the kids loved, however if you went in the summer there’s kayaking and fishing on the estate . Also a massive patio area with beautiful loch views »

« Having read excellent reviews of Tayview Lodges, my wife and I arrived with great expectation and we were most certainly not disappointed. « The cottage was small but comfortable enough for a couple. It was clean throughout and well maintained. The description on VRBO is accurate. The owners, who are both friendly and approachable, live in an adjacent property on the same site. Pitlochry makes and excellent base for exploring central Scotland. The town has a large Coop supermarket and numerous places to eat. »
