The space
This historic park ranger cottage sits on two private acres at the edge of Table Rock State Park.

You'll have the entire home and outdoor space to yourself.

The private trail starts on the property and connects directly into the park’s trail system.

Outside, relax by the fire pit, soak in the hot tub (professionally serviced and sanitized after each guest), grill dinner, dine under the stars, play cornhole or just enjoy your time outdoors.

Inside, comfortable furnishings and luxe mattresses help you get a great night’s sleep after a long day outside.

Those with pet allergies, please be aware that although we do not allow pets, by law we must accept ADA compliant service animals.

We strongly recommend VRBO's travel insurance. It's inexpensive and covers you in case you need to cancel your travel plans.

There are no interior cameras anywhere in the home. Exterior cameras are located outside for guest safety and property security only.

On occasion, our landscaper and/or our hot tub technician may arrive for routine maintenance during your stay.

This is a split-level cottage with stairs to bedrooms on upper and lower levels, so it is not suitable for unsupervised small children.

Pets are not allowed, although ADA-compliant service animals must be accepted.

Exterior cameras are located outside only for guest safety and property security. There are no interior or interior-facing cameras.

Landscaping maintenance may occasionally occur during longer stays.

• Your profile photo must clearly show your face. A valid, government-issued photo ID is required at the time of booking. Failure to provide this will result in cancellation. • Must be at least 25 years old to book. No third-party bookings. • No smoking or vaping allowed inside or near the house. Violation results in a $500 fine plus remediation costs. • No firearms, weapons, fireworks, or candles allowed anywhere on the property. • 6 person maximum at all times. Unauthorized guests or pets will result in immediate removal and non-refundable cancellation. • ADA-compliant service animals must remain with the guest at all times and may not be left unattended. Emotional support animals are not allowed. • Tampering with exterior security cameras will result in immediate removal without refund. • Additional charges may apply if the premises are left in abnormal condition. Moving furniture or furnishings is not permitted. A $100 fee will be assessed if any furniture or furnishings are moved and not returned to their original location. • The property is for personal, residential use only. Commercial use of any kind is not permitted, including photo or video shoots, filming, workshops, retreats, or content creation intended for business or monetization. Unauthorized commercial use may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund. • Certain amenities are provided as a courtesy and are considered non-essential, including Wi-Fi/internet. If an essential amenity is unavailable for more than 24 hours, compensation is limited to a maximum of $25 per day, at the host’s discretion. No refunds are provided for interruptions caused by weather, power outages, third-party utilities, or guest misuse. The host must be given reasonable time to attempt repairs. • For stays longer than seven nights, an additional $100 cleaning fee applies. • Mail and packages may not be sent to the property. The home is not a legal mailing address, and the host is not responsible for items sent in violation of this rule.
