« Check-in was a very unpleasant experience that I wouldn’t wish on anyone arriving at a hotel in the evening. My friend was refused accommodation on the grounds that the ID was in the old format. A few weeks earlier, in the same situation, this had not caused any problems. On the same trip, there were no issues at the other hotels. An attempt to contact the manager was met with contempt. We therefore had to find another hotel in a hurry. We had three more nights booked; we tried to get a refund...
