« The lodge itself is nice, clean and tidy although there were no towels left out when we arrived this was quickly sorted by calling the number given in the information pack. The internet connection is extremely slow, almost impossible to use at times which is a little frustrating when trying to plan activities/outings for the next day. The property is in a nice setting but you do need a vehicle to go anywhere or do anything, as long as you are prepared for that though it is a lovely place to get...

« The location of the property is a bit tricky to fund but its worth the drive as it's set up overlooking Loch Tay surrounded by sheep farm and mountains. The chalet had everything we needed for our 2 nights. Beds were very comfy! We enjoyed the long walk to the beach, very Scottish, very magical! »

« The situation of the lodge is stunning, with rowan trees around the property. The weather wasn't good during our stay, but we didn't have to move from the sofa to get spectacular views out of the windows! There was a selection of books to read, which I made use of. The beds were very comfortable & the heating system was easy to use, except for the fact that the heating controls in the bathrooms were at floor level. « Wij hebben heel erg genoten van ons verblijf. De vakantiewoning was picobello, met een panoramisch zicht op de indrukwekkende natuur. De gastheer Cameron zorgde voor een warm onthaal en verstrekte ons meer dan voldoende informatie. Het verblijf in Portnellan (chalet Pinemarten) is een absolute aanrader! »

« The unit was quite nice. Close to Killarney and the Ring of Kerry. We had difficulty with the WiFi and tried to get the manager to understand we tried all versions of password-none worked. Still, the unit was nice and we enjoyed that it sat along a beautiful stream. Please fix the WiFi. »

« We had a great time in this lovely Cottage. We loved to watch birds and squirrels on our balcony. We enjoyed playing with the owner´s dog Ralph and canoeing on the loch. Portnellan is a great starting Point to reach almost every destination in the Highlands. Our tip for families ist to do the GoApe treetop challenge in Aberfoyle. Enjoy your stay, we did it. »
