Welcome home to your holiday space in the beachside suburb of Jindalee, described by many folks as the perfect position for a holiday home, in a tasteful space that feels like a warm hug.
We have thoughtfully created beautiful, premium living spaces in our point of difference, modern cottage reflecting a pindan earth palet, that incorporates colours from the North West of Western Australia. A place close to both of our hearts, using the Karijini Gorges to tie in our water reference, being that we are located near the Indian Ocean.
WE'VE ADDED SOME QUIRK!
We've popped in a few of our favourite items and some vintage pieces, collected from our own international and domestic travels, for interest and inspiration.
We invite you to relax and reconnect with family and friends.
EASY ACCESS.
You'll collect the key from a lock box for easy access and then enter through the front door to the allocated quiet spaces of a library with a bookcase full of literature for all ages and a panda drum for the musician waiting to escape you.
YOU'RE ON HOLIDAYS BUT YOU NEED TO CHECK- IN WITH THE OFFICE.
For those who need to check in with the office there is a fully furnished workspace with large vintage desk and comfortable chair, opposite the library, purposefully appointed away from the hustle and bustle of the main kitchen and living areas, tastefully decorated to allow concentration and conversation for those important Zoom calls.
MASTER BEDROOM
The master bedroom is tastefully decorated with Karijini landscapes and soft furnishings to reflect the colours. Comfortable linen tucks you into your Queen size bed that will ensure a comfortable night's sleep behind block out blinds. A full bathroom with large shower recess is stocked with the basic essentials including shampoo, conditioner and soap and is adjacent to the master bedroom.
And yes! Of course there is a hair dryer.
KIDS CUDDLE UP UNDER AUSTRALIAN ANIMALS FOR A FUN NIGHT'S SLEEP
Just for the kids we change out the quilt covers to Australian animal themes.
The second and third bedrooms take leave from our colour palet, both containing super comfortable double beds to tuck the kids away into their sweet dreams. Both rooms have block our blinds. A full-size bathroom and toilet is appointed between the two bedrooms behind a second hallway displaying watercolours painted by local artist Fiona Faulkner-Cox.
OPEN PLAN FAMILY SPACE. LOADS OF AMENITIES.
In the large open plan living space there is a country cottage kitchen housing a large farmhouse sink, 72cm oven, coffee and tea making facilities, toaster and microwave oven. We have included an air fryer, sandwich maker and rice cooker, oh and some recipe books for ease of planning. The island bench has two bench stools, perfect for those conversations whilst little hands get in on the cooking action.
To enhance your dining experience in the dining area we have hidden a butler's pantry through a sliding door with it's own sink and dishwasher, just in case Granny and Grandad are joining you for dinner and you want to enjoy the room's ambience without dirty dishes on the kitchen sink. This little hub also houses the dishwasher, fridge and washing machine, in addition to a coffee machine which uses pods.
A DINING TABLE WITH ROOM FOR EVEYONE.
Enjoy conversations over dinner at the tasmanian oak 8 seater dining setting. One of our showcase pieces of furniture tieing in natural timbers to the colour palet. The perfect setting for conversations and laughter over dinner.
BOARD GAMES AND NETFLIX
A large 55cm television is wall-mounted over a timber tv unit which houses many board games, in front of a large and comfortable chaise lounge seat that you literally sink into to watch your favourite Netflix programs. It's honestly like sitting on a big comfortable cloud! Without the television on it's the perfect place to sit and enjoy calm of more Karijini photographs. Oh, did I mention these were taken by son-in-law Yuhki Murayama.
THROW A PRAWN ON THE BBQ
If BBQ-ing is your thing, then you'll find an electric BBQ. An outdoor setting provides the perfect place to enjoy a quiet wine and cheese board whilst the chef cooks the BBQ. Along the northern side of the house is a pathway lined with golden cane palms that takes you to a four-seater cast aluminium table and chairs in the front courtyard garden. This space is the perfect quiet place to read the paper over coffee whilst the sun rises.
GIVE MUM A BREAK FROM THE KITCHEN.
The surrounding suburb provides easy access to shops and an amazing choice of restaurants in cluding Mayur Indian Cuisine, Jindalee Thai, DeDe Kebabs and Pizza to tantilise your tastebuds if you feel like ordering in or eating out, in addition to a Dome Coffee shop and the Cornerstone Alehouse that overlooks Butler Man Made Lake where the kids can feed lettuce to the ducks. For the kids who want an old favorite there's Zambreros, Hungry Jacks or head down to the Jindalee Beach Shack for Fish and Chips on the beach.
For your convenience there is a Coles Supermarket close by for last-minute essentials like a BBQ pack for the BBQ.
WALK TO PARKS AND THE BEACH.
There are two parks, one, within 100 metres, which has tables and chairs for a picnic, and a larger park another 100 metres away with an ampitheatre and soon to be constructed playground where the children can run around and kick a football and last but not least the beach is a twelve minute walk and has an eatery and playground for the kids, in addition to the surf sun and sand.
