Experience a unique stay in our ground floor, modern apartment located in one of Perth`s historic castles! The building dates back to the 16th century, with gorgeous architecture and views of surrounding Perth. The property recently has benefitted from new mattresses throughout.

The apartment has two sizable double bedrooms, and can house up to four guests, plus an extra guest in the lounge area sofa bed. There is a modern bathroom area, plus a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. The lounge area has comfortable sofas, which can convert into one sofa bed, and you will have access to a cable tv, wifi and amazon alexa.

The property has recently benefitted from brand new mattresses throughout, ensuring optimal comfort throughout your stay.

The apartment is also located on the ground floor of the castle and is located in a quiet street that is surrounded by some of Perth`s best attractions.

Not every neighbourhood has a 16th Century castle in it! We have some interesting information on the history of the building and the local area which you can read when you stay.

Although a mainly residential neighbourhood, there is a small, well-run Co-op supermarket just 2 streets away (17 Darnhall Drive PH2 0HD) which is open 6am-10pm 7 days a week.

Also nearby are tennis courts (Darnhall Tennis Club, Orchard Place PH2 0HS, and a golf course (Craigie Hill Golf Club, PH2 0NE.

The nearest children`s playpark is in Darnhall Crescent and there`s also a great one outside Perth Leisure Pool which is less than 15 minutes away on foot and just 3 minutes in the car (Glasgow Road, Perth, PH2 0HZ). The swimming pool complex opens at 10 am everyday.

There`s also a good pub within walking distance, The Cherrybank Inn, which serves quality food and drinks with friendly service.

Close enough to the city centre to walk there (see map in blue folder), the apartment is also not far from various bus routes if you prefer to use public transport. The Perth bus routes 5, 7 and 13 all run close by and journey time to city centre is around 10 minutes - timetables are in the blue folder.

Perth train station is about 1 mile away (PH2 8RT) and connects to trains all over Scotland and the UK.

Nearest commercial airports are Dundee, Edinburgh or Glasgow.

We use the proceeds earned through our guests stays to help fund the restoration of Pitheavlis Castle! As it is a Grade A listed building, the restoration process is quite complex and takes a good bit of time to ensure it is done properly.

We first started with the interior apartment you will be staying in, and it has been given a modern and stylish makeover! Now we are starting work on the rest of the building and have just completed repointing of the neighbouring vault room!
