Escape to Plaid Cabin, a brand-new two-bedroom retreat, plus an office with a queen sleeper sofa, on the shores of Pelican Lake in Breezy Point, Minnesota. Sleeping up to eight, this 1,800-square-foot cabin pairs an open floor plan and an accordion door that brings the outdoors in with sandy shoreline, natural wetland, and everything you need for long lake days.

Launch a kayak, paddleboard, or pedal boat from your own dock, then gather around the fire pit on the beach as the sun goes down. Back at the cabin, a second fire pit with seating sits near the house, and a big back deck with two outdoor tables (each seats four) and three lounge chairs is made for morning coffee and long dinners. Inside, the open kitchen, dining, and living area is set up for the whole group, with central air, an electric fireplace, and a sound system for the playlist.

- Smoke-Free Space – Please keep the indoors fresh for everyone. No smoking inside. A $300 cleaning fee applies if smoking is detected.
- No Parties or Events – You're welcome to invite day visitors and enjoy small get-togethers during your stay. Please keep things respectful. Large parties, events, or activities that cause extra mess, damage, or disturb the neighbors are not allowed.
- Guest List – For everyone's safety and comfort, only registered guests are allowed unless we've chatted and approved otherwise.
- Quiet Hours – Please keep noise to a minimum from 10 PM to 8 AM so everyone, including the neighbors, can relax. Please also follow local noise ordinances, especially around the fire pits and beach.
- Pets – Pets are not allowed on this property. Thank you for your understanding.
- Accordion Door – The door has no screen, and bugs come in as the sun goes down. It's wonderful in the morning and midday; just think about how late in the evening you leave it open.
- Water Safety – There is no lifeguard on duty. All amenities, including the dock, beach, and water toys, are used at your own risk, and children should be supervised near the water.
- Water Toys – Please return the kayak, paddleboard, and pedal boat to the rack when you leave.
- No Parking on the Lawn – Please park in the driveway only. The lawn sprinklers run every other day, so anything left on the grass may get wet.
- Trash – Bins are on the driveway near the house. Please leave them on the lawn side of the driveway so the trucks have room to turn around. Pickup is on Mondays.
- Security – 2 exterior cameras: a Ring camera at the front door and a security camera at the back door overlooking the patio and backyard. No interior cameras.
