Take time to enjoy the wild ocean scenery from the balcony, or take a short stroll from the hut to explore the secluded beach, with New Zealand coastal wildlife and hidden swimming spots. A medium level walk; 3km, 30 minutes, around the inlet side of Pepin Island. Now fully gravelled, allowing your own 4WD vehicle around there, 2WD is also fine in dry weather!

Please note. due to the location the facilities are limited. The hut is all solar power, if there is no sun there is no hot water for the shower. There is no cell phone reception unless you walk up the hill and there is no form of heating.
