This beautiful Gulf-front vacation rental unit includes floor to ceiling patio doors in the living room that leads to a large balcony that provides a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. This attractive and appealing vacation rental unit's other features include granite countertops, a full-size refrigerator, cook top stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. It also has all of the dishes, pots, pans, and utensils necessary to make any meal, snack or dessert that you wish. The master bath has a garden tub with shower. The living room and bedroom have TVs. Other entertainment features in the living room are a DVD player and VCR. All towels and linens for the condo are provided. Please be advised that Waters Edge is not a pet-friendly property.

Spring break get-away

We loved the condo that we stayed in! We had great views of the gulf on the sixth floor. We could see dolphins and sting rays from our balcony. We were just steps away from the white sand beach. We had an extensive view down the emerald coast, including the pier and beautiful sunsets. We enjoyed the heated pool. Our unit was very nice and fit our family of four very well!

Waters Edge 607 has bed bugs. Vacasa was good about moving us to another unit after we completed the "bed bugs protocol". This experience ruined our vacation

View from 6th floor great! Setup of the room is good. Nice furniture and appliances. However, room showed not well maintained. Closet door fell out of tracks, lots of drywall damage, ceiling drywall has long crack, A/C quit working (Vacasa very responsive to that), patio door tracks last cleaned/greased probably never, outside patio outlet cover missing and not working, some of the dishes had to be washed again, limited racks to move your belonging in so be prepared to wait 30 min or better or make mulitple trips up/down a busy elevator and finally, no broom to sweep floor or patio, after-hours answering service is non-existent. Some of these may seem picky but at this price, there are expectations to be upheld.

Enjoyed our short trip

I was a little nervous after reading some of the other reviews about the unit being so outdated, but we were coming last minute on a short trip and we care more about location on the beach. The interior is a bit outdated, but we enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect. The pool is wonderful, the beach is prestine! We flew and did not rent a car and used uber the entire time, so it was nice to have tom thumb within walking distance. I also loved that beach service was included. Just be aware that they do not reserve the chairs with the unit number or anything. There were a lot of owners in when we stayed and I had to find out that they are the only ones that get their chairs reserved. You will get a chair but may not be front row. Not a huge problem for me because I wake early and have young kids so I was able to get first row, but you have to get out while they are getting chairs out. If you like to sleep in this could get very annoying. More information about this in the description would have been very helpful. Many renters were confused and trying to get information from each other on how it all works. My other negatives is the bed in the master is to small and not very comfortable. Could use a larger bed and better mattress, my husband and I did not sleep well. The kitchen does lack some things as well. Just compared to my other units we have stayed in Ft. Walton. Everything is very basic but we did not need much. We really liked the Waters edge and would definately stay in this complex again. Thank you for the wonderful trip.

The condo needs a makeover. The couch is worn slap out, the kitchen needs essentials, the bedroom needs a fan and master mattress is hard as a rock. Complex is great though.

All good except floors

The view is gorgeous. The pool is clean and lovely. The communication with condo managers was great. The surfaces and linens were clean. The only 2 issues we had were: 1) the floors were vacuumed but desperately needed to be mopped. We had to wear our flip-flops inside the condo because the bottoms of our socks or feet were getting black because the floors were so dirty. 2) the cabinet under the bar that is used to store cleaning supplies had a lock but was unlocked. We have a toddler and we had to push a bar stool up against the door so that our toddler would not get in the cabinet with cleaning chemicals.

Great View

Loved the property, would be great for small group or family with two children. Slightly disappointed with cleanliness of property. I dropped my sunglasses and when I went to pick them up there was candy under the furniture and sand all over the floor, but other than that this was a wonderful property to stay at. Also I received a text message upon arrival saying to contact Vacasa with any questions or concerns and it gave Vacasa's phone number however when I reached out to Vacasa they told me I needed to call VRBO. So lack of communication with property managment but didn't need them for much.

Great time with a few issues .

Overall great place to stay. A few things that need attention. Cleanliness of condo. Floors poorly vacuumed or cleaned at all. I dont think they had been mopped in a long time. Sheets and pillows were in need of another wash on bunk bed. Pillows were dingy and not clean. The sleeper sofa bed was hard and the springs coming through. The blankets on bunk beds smelled like they hadn't been washed. We vacuumed. washed them first day. The pool needs to have umbrellas for shade. When we called the contact number they promptly sent a maintenance tech to reprogram tv and bring rollaway. Loved the super clean large pools and chairs on beach that go with your stay. Loved location and easy access to everything. We had a great time and my kids loved it! Just a few little things that I mentioned. Thanks for the great time!

Beautiful relaxing weekend!

The property was just as presented in the pictures. It is a beautiful one bedroom condo right on the Gulf shore. It had everything we needed....except for one thing.....a spatula to turn my grilled cheese sandwich! Direct check-in/check-out is awesome! The pools were awesome, but the best is sitting on the balcony listening to the waves roll in.....absolute relaxation!

Can’t beat the location.

We’ve stayed at several 1 bedrooms in Waters Edge. The location is great, very convenient. Overall, this condo was clean but the furnishings really need to be updated. The couch is uncomfortable & sags in the middle. We did not use the hide-away bed but question the comfort based on just sitting on the couch. Some of the drawer pulls need to be repaired. The kitchen has the bare necessities- we didn’t cook but did warm up some food & there were no pot holders or spatulas. The view from the balcony is wonderful. The patio chairs also need to be replaced. The beach chair service is a great bonus. A little work on this place & it could go from a 3 star to 5 star. I would stay there again, there’s just nothing to make it an impressive stay.

View was amazing!

Property was super clean and staff super friendly. Pool was huge but lacking shaded area until late in the day. Super easy to find the management company and property itself. Only suggestion would be to do some minor upgrades. The carpet in bedroom was clean but in my opinion carpet and sand don’t go well together. Patio furniture has also been eaten away by humidity and could break at anytime. This was my first time using this service and I totally will again. It was so nice to have a dryer for wet pool clothes, Kitchen for quick lunches, and you can’t beat the view!!!

Just ok...

We have been visiting Okaloosa Island for about 5 years. We stayed at this unit October 2016. This unit is by far the least desirable we have stayed in. It needs a VERY deep cleaning. The shower had mold and mildew along the door and in the corners. The bathroom wall had dirt on the walls. The baseboards had dust along them at the carpet. The kitchen sink drainer was rusted. Handles on the pans were wobbly. There were not enough hangers. The patio screen door had holes in it and wasn't even on the tracks. With a little bit of investment, the unit could be cleaned and maintained to make it much nicer. Disappointing...
