The house was cute inside and located in a good neighborhood. It is attached to another unit, though, so you can hear some noise (talking, coughing, dog barking, etc.), especially from the master bedroom—something to keep in mind if you’re sensitive to sound. We like to open windows and patio doors for fresh air, but that wasn’t really possible here. The patio door and many of the windows either didn’t have screens (so flies/bugs came in if left open) or the windows wouldn’t open or even stay open. Only 2 out of 9 windows worked properly. The air conditioner worked perfectly so if you don't want fresh air then you'll be fine. The host was very responsive and kindly provided a drip coffee maker upon request, which we appreciated. There were also several coolers and space heaters provided. That said, the kitchen was missing some pretty basic cooking tools (such as a colander, large frying pan, vegetable peeler, cheese grater, etc), which made meal prep a bit challenging. There was however a half a bottle of bourbon left in the kitchen. While thoughtful, we would have preferred having those said basic kitchen essentials provided instead of the alcohol. While this property has some nice qualities, some improvements would make the experience better.
