We really enjoyed our stay. The room layout was perfect for us and we greatly appreciated the beach chairs and other items that were in the garage for use. It was only a short walk to the beach from our unit. The managing company communicated great and really didn’t leave any unanswered questions. The beaches were not crowded and it was overall a great stay. There were only a couple of things that were negatives. First, while the unit was clean and everything had been washed and floors swept, it was evident that the cleaning company had not mopped the floors. Walking barefoot or in socks would quickly turn your feet black. Second, the downstairs bath drain was almost completely clogged and would not drain. To me, this indicates the cleaning crew likely didn’t do a great job cleaning if they didn’t run enough water to note this. I will say, I believe that had the agency been notified, they would have quickly addressed this because as soon as we called, they had someone there to unclog the drain within a couple hours. Similarly, if no one let them know about the floors, they would have no idea they were not mopped. They said they would definitely check with the cleaning company to let them know.We would definitely rent this unit again, and will be looking to book it in 2026.
