Finger Lakes Wine Country Chalet

Le lever de soleil sur le lac Seneca depuis cette grande maison à l’armature A est à couper le souffle. Cette propriété immaculée récemment rénovée offre non seulement une vue imprenable sur le lac Seneca, mais aussi deux immenses foyers de pierre bleue, pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 8 personnes et tout le confort d'une propriété de vacances viticole moderne. Tous les nouveaux meubles, sols, comptoirs et finitions. Nouveau mobilier en cuir dans le salon. Profitez de la vie en plein air sur l’immense terrasse face au lac qui comporte un coin salon et salle à manger.

Cette propriété jouxte les vignes, les bois et les terres agricoles, tout en étant à quelques minutes de vos besoins quotidiens. Les vignobles primés sont à moins de 1,5 km, Watkins Glen à un peu plus de 20 minutes, Corning à environ 40 minutes et Genève à seulement 10 minutes.

La chambre principale dispose d'une salle de bain privée avec douche à l'italienne et lit king size. La deuxième chambre dispose également d'un lit king-size et d'un mobilier accrocheur; la troisième chambre dispose d'un lit queen; et la quatrième chambre est également une taille queen dans un studio. La salle de bain moderne du rez-de-chaussée dispose également d'une douche à l'italienne. Il y a aussi un canapé-lit queen size pour des capacités de couchage supplémentaires dans le studio.

Toutes les salles de bains disposent d'une douche à l'italienne.

Perfect place for family and friends. House was ideal. Very convenient to everything in the area, bonus when is a brewery in the backyard/ next door.Hosts are great, extremely attentive and quick to respond to any questions. we very much appreciated the welcome message and wine. I would give a 9.8 as only minor thing is maybe the older tv, wasn’t optimal for watching sports on a rainy night. Maybe it was the cable.

This was our second stay at this home. This time was to visit our son at Hobart for his 21rst birthday with family. The house is so beautiful and comfortable!!! We were able to do dinner in Geneva and wine tour following day and back to house for visiting around the fire and cards. We can’t wait to come back!!! Amazing home and great hosts!!!

We had a wonderful time celebrating Thanksgiving at this property. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the views were amazing.Check in was easy and host was accommodating and quick to respond.

Beautiful property with a gorgeous view of Seneca lake. Great location for the wine trail event! Very well stocked and incredibly clean. The only issue was an incorrect description of the bedrooms. The 4th is actually a sleeper sofa but the VRBO description says queen bed and sofa sleeper. However, we made it work for our group. Looking forward to booking in the warmer kings.

The location of the property was ideal for a fall getaway. Close to Geneva, a quaint town, close to many wineries and breweries and local state parks. The property was ideal for 3 couples. The house was comfortable and had many amenities. The kitchen could use an update but was adequate for our purposes. Communication with the owner was fabulous and his responses were quick and informative.

We had a great stay in the chalet. It was very clean and had everything you would need. We didn't do any cooking during our stay but noticed it was well stocked. The hosts left a welcome gift which was very thoughtful and was a special touch! They also were very responsive to any messages. We enjoyed the deck with the beautiful views. Absolutely perfect. The house was clean and stocked with all the essentials, the beds were comfortable, the shower water pressure was great, and the view from the deck was amazing. We were three couples that spent the long weekend on some hikes, wineries, breweries, and soaking in all the beautiful scenery. Easy access to both Geneva and Watkins Glen. Would definitely stay here again.

This was an amazing property. Great lay out for 3 couples to have their own space. Gorgeous view. Enjoyed sitting outside with a coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. So peaceful. Great location close to good food and a lot of wineries. Had a question on first day and received immediate response from owner. Would highly recommend this property. Thank you for a great stay.

FLX Wine Country Chalet was simply put, PERFECT! The chalet was beautiful, comfortable, and extremely neat/clean. Jim and Deborah were incredible hosts. Central location for 6 adults to enjoy the western end of the Finger Lakes. Easy access to wineries and restaurants. We used the house as a home base. We went out to eat, so we didn't use the well stocked kitchen. Nice views of the lake. Unfortunately the weather was cool and rainy so we didn't get to take advantage of the outside deck or firepit. Maybe next time!

The house was centrally located on the left side of the lake. We had enough room for the whole group. The hosts greeted us with a welcome sign ,flowers and a bottle of wine. 1st time someone went out of their way to do that for us. Even though we thought we would use it. They had a grill. We did use the fire pit. Great plus. The only negative. I would say. Get rid of the sofa bed in the basement and put in a day bed or trundle. Something more comfortable for the last of the guests. We would love to come back again soon.

You can't beat the location of this house! Whether you want to explore Seneca, Keuka, or points further, everything will be easy to get to. The view of Seneca Lake from the deck is lovely, especially in the afternoon when the deck is shaded and the breeze is coming in. There's plenty of seating outside and inside, and our group of four adults was very comfortable. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and the central air did a good job of keeping us cool. The upstairs bedroom only has sheer curtains, so it's a little bright in the morning. The front of the house with its A-frame wall of glass provides so much light and great views, and is very bright in the morning since it's east-facing. The hosts provided everything we needed for our stay, including a welcome bottle of wine. They have a useful list of recommendations written on one wall in a clever chalkboard style. Note: in case this matters to you, there are no window coverings in the living-dining area, including the A-frame window wall.

Jim and Debbie were fantastic hosts. Very quick response to questions. House is very clean and well appointed. Big Deck with lots of seating. Plenty of cookware and dishes. We were 3 couples and we had plenty of space and privacy. At the top of the lake, west side. Right off of the main north south road with plenty of wineries and breweries. There's even a brewery next door with good beer.
