We went on a round trip (Bali, Gili Islands, Nusa Penida). Compared to other hotels, this one was clearly overpriced with poor service and untrained staff. The price-performance ratio is terrible for the supposed hotel class.
Service/Dinner:
Staff appear disoriented; no one knows what to do. You wait ages for your food, which then arrives cold. It’s overpriced and not up to standard. Tables are inconsistently set, some with dirty cloths. Sparkling water is served in unsealed bottles – unacceptable. Staff shuffle around in sneakers, serve once, then disappear. The bill is only brought after repeated requests.
Rooms:
New, but with construction issues (e.g. loose shower fittings). Glasses and cups were dirty upon arrival. Used slippers in the closet – absolutely unhygienic.
Booked Tour:
A very poor experience: we were placed in an old car with no seatbelts or safety standards. The driver ignored our concerns and admitted to being tired – we felt extremely unsafe. In other hotels, we had modern and safe vehicles.
Transfer:
Transfer to/from the harbor worked smoothly, though the cars were dirty – but at least had seatbelts.
Breakfast & Grounds:
Breakfast was very good – wide selection and good quality. The grounds are nicely designed.
