« We used this house mainly as a home base for a fishing trip on Smith Mountain Lake. This place was perfect since we could walk right down to the dock on the water and enjoy all the great views. Everything in the house was in good working order, which is always important. The chairs and couches were clean and comfortable. The master bedroom was very spacious and the other bedrooms were more than adequate. All the rooms were clean. Again, for me, everything worked as expected, and the outside...

« This was our 2nd stay in this house. It is located in a very quiet cove with deep water suitable for swimming and fishing. We spent most of the time on the dock which has nice covered area to keep yourself cool in summer heat. The house was very clean, cozy, with plenty of space to spread after a day in the sun and water. Covered screened deck off the kitchen level is very nice to have , protects from elements, rain and moscitoes. »

« Access for the lake was not good. Would have appreciated steps or, walkway or a railing. My husband is in heart failure an he only got to get in the boat once. Because of the climb. Because we could not use the awning it would have been nice to have an umbrella for the table. The house was beautiful, however it would have been nice to have a TV in each bedroom. There were no dishcloth to wash dishes as the rack in the dishwasher is broken. No trash bags. Hand soap in only the downstairs...

« Last minute booking. Lisa was very accommodating and made check in a breeze. Located a short paddle away from the Marina for those looking to rent a boat. Also Mitchell's has a restaurant. Will return. Just wouldn't recommend for those with elders that have mobility issues if they wanted to go down to the dock! However, we enjoyed the workout! »

« My wife and stayed at this property for our 25th anniversary and we had a the most relaxing, amazing time. The house is located in the back of a quiet cove. Just a perfect place to enjoy the lake without a lot of distractions. We loved it! »
