Get away from it all ! Breathe the fresh sea air as you are surrounded by sea and Arbutus trees on a point. If you're lucky, wales will swim right by while you're on the deck or the lookout. Clean. Four bedrooms; three bathrooms; a large living room; a study; barbeque, and more! Absorb nature. Dine to sunsets through the trees. And warm up by the fire as you try the piano. This is such a great and spacious property. Robin is very helpful and great with communication. The house got 3 sides of windows looking at the sea. There are plenty of board games, cute decors, and glass and ceramic bakeware and stainless pots. We would not bring any cookwares if we come back again. He even got steamer! The fireplace was the best with free chopped woods. Comfortable and clean beds. If the couches could be a bit newer, it would be perfect.

The house and location were perfect and exactly what we were looking for! Lots of room and very comfortable. The great room was stunning. The views from the deck did not disappoint and the setting was a perfect west coast getaway. Robin was an excellent host and provided some great suggestions for local activities to do. Communication was fantastic and checking in was seamless and hassle free. Would highly recommend and definitely look forward to staying here again.

Beautiful property with spectacular views. Lots of space and the property is exceptionally equipped with everything you could need. Especially enjoyed the BBQ and eating dinner on the deck watching the boats go by on the distance. Location is great for getting around the island. Also a big shout out to the host who was extremely helpful and provided great information about the home and the island. Highly recommend this home to couples who like space and privacy as well as families. There is something for everyone here. Would definitely come back.

Relaxing Pender Family Weekend

Pictures and comments do not do it justice; one of the most relaxing stays we have had... enjoyed so much we ended up staying an additional day past original planned trip.Robin was great and accomodating with very clear communication. Was likely our most relaxing 4 days we spent on West Coast. Whales - our own eagle. No complaints

Island Retreat

The Pender Island house is an amazing location with 180 degree views of Swanson Channel and the BC Ferry traffic. The house is very clean, well appointed, and well designed for a retreat from the hustle bustle of everyday life. The Host is very attentive and responsive to all requests.

Why would you stay anywhere else?

The property has better views than the photos show! Sunset from the deck is awesome. The house was immaculate; the host responsive, and all-in-all, a 20 out of 10 stay.We spent our days hiking, biking, and wandering both islands. Coming back each day was a joy. The house is big enough that you can spread yourselves out, or you can gather in the great room and admire the views. Even though it was late May and the evenings cool, we spent a lot of time on the deck past sunset.

180 degree ocean views

The house has beautiful views from the deck, living room, dining area and bedrooms. We stayed in March for a week, enjoying the large wood stove on the cold wet days and explored most of the hikes when it was warm.

This is a great place for a group. Every bedroom had a view of the water and eating our meals on the patio was just wonderful. Overall, this place was better than we had expected and we plan to go back

You have an incredible view at this home. If you have the chance to stay here, book right away! The pictures don't do the home justice and we were blown away with how amazing the views were! When you walk in the door, there's a long hall down towards the dining room and kitchen overlooking a huge vaulted great room with 270 degree views of the ocean! There's 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a study on the top floor and downstairs has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The home is a bit dated but has everything you need! The long deck spans the whole side of the house, perfect for reading and watching the sea life! No whales for us on this quick trip but it was a gorgeous setting! Owners are super responsive and we hope to come back soon!!

A perfect artist retreat.

Excellent quality and everything was according to website, very well done Robin. As artists we particularly enjoyed the original work displayed throughout. also we had a retired classical pianist and music teacher with us, so we were treated to some classical music education, you have a wonderful collection and we too had a few of our own cd's that happened to be in the car (half classics and half to help with driving (a bit of "Both" Rock AND Roll as "they" say (whoever "they" are!!) hahaha. One question --- looks as if the large antique portrait over the doorway into the upper bedroom could have been the same lady as painted in the dining area (not sure i have the exact location correct here), of course she may have been from more modern era ???, One of our guests thought her pierced ears for the Ear-ings may have been later than in the large reclining painting as mentioned above, Others in our group thought piercings have been commonplace for umpteen centuries ???... artists can you ever trust us ........ Anyway all in all a great few days, a bit too short which is often the case. still better short than too long,,, . Though a lifetime on Pender could still be too short....hahaha. We hope to come again , perhaps for a full week in the first half of may 2025?? any idea of prices and availability yet ??? regards Brian brianchandler1949@gmail.com 250 299 1739
