Pieper Mansion - Historic Charm & Modern Comfort!

Summary:
This Get-Away on Historic Main Street in Payson, Pieper Mansion shares the same 3/4 Acre as the Legendary Adobe "Mud House". This Grand and Rustic Home in the middle of this quaint town, allows you to stroll into nearby Antique Shops and Dine in many of the Locally Owned and Family Run Restaurants. There's a likely chance you will spot Elk walking nearby in the early morning or evening dusk. We have a Private Community Large Wood Fire Pit to enjoy on crisp evenings (Fire restrictions may apply in dry seasons)! In addition to the fun you can experience on property, many Adventures around town are waiting to be enjoyed. The Tonto Natural Bridge State Park is only 20 minutes away! Visit the many Popular Trails and Sites throughout Rim Country! Check in at 4 pm to start your Memories and Check out is at 11am.

The Space:
4 Bedroom Log Cabin Sleeps 15
4 Bathrooms (2 full bathrooms include shower, and 2 half baths have toilet and sink). No bathtub at this home.
The Front Entry Porch looks onto Main St. and is a great place for Elk Spotting and the activity of shoppers and locals going by.
Most guests initially enter through the Back Deck Entry where they have parked.
Master bedroom has an En-Suite Bathroom with a large walk-in shower,King size bed, walk-in closet, and a large wall mount smart tv.
Bedroom #2 Has lodge pole Queen size bed and a twin sofa sleeper.
Bedroom #3 Has a King size bunk beds, large dresser and a large wall mount smart tv.
Bedroom #4 is Upstairs. This Fun Space is accessible from the outside only. Follow the Iron Stairs to the Small "Hobbit" Entry Door. Make Sure to Duck ! Once inside you can easily stand and enjoy a game of Pool. There is 4 twin size beds and a full size bed upstairs. There is a loft look-out for checking on or communicating with the guest downstairs!
The Kitchen is an Open Space with an actual Antique Gas Stove that easily adds to the Rustic charm of the entire Cabin
It includes a large Stainless Steel Refrigerator, ice maker, Dishwasher, Large Deep Sink, a Long Breakfast Bar with 5 Stools and a walk in Pantry awaiting your Groceries. The Pantry and Kitchen Cupboards are stocked with small appliances, pots, pans, dishes, cups, glasses and service ware. Off the pantry is the laundry room.

Right off the kitchen area is a large 10+ dining room table
Bathroom 1 is off of dining room, this bathroom is only half bath ( no shower)
In the Great Room you will find a large Leather, Split Sectional that will allow for your whole group to gather to watch a movie or a game.
The Pellet Stove provides a cozy warmth that fills the cabin along with the heaters you control by remote. Please obey the warnings in the Pellet Stove Packet and in the Welcome Packet. Please watch children closely or choose not to use the pellet stove if children are staying with you.
Out on the Back Deck you will find double Ovens, outdoor sink with hot water, a flat top Grill and a Covered Gas Grill, gas fire pit, large wall mounted smart tv and comfy outdoor seating to relax!
There is a outdoor bathroom on back patio as well.
This Home on our 3/4 Acre Property is shared with the Historic Adobe "Mud House" , and 3 Mini Cabins you can also reserve on this platform.

The Neighborhood:
Payson's location, being very near to the geographic center of Arizona, has been called "The Heart of Arizona". The Historic Main Street in Payson Arizona boasts Antique Shops and other Locally Owned stores, Coffee Shops and Restaurants. This is Rim Country! There are many Hikes and Trails through Pine Forests to Lakes, Springs, Creeks and even Water Falls. The Tonto Natural Bridge State Park is just 22 minutes away! Visit The Payson Visitor Center nearby to learn about all the available Trails and Experiences. There is even a Fishing Pond nearby and a Pickleball Court. Keep an eye out for Elk in the early morning and early evening!

Getting Around:
Walking, Hiking and Driving are the preferred methods to experience this Piney Mountain Town. Along Main Street and beyond, Payson offers Shopping and Dining that compliment your stay with us. For an Extra Special experience, we recommend visiting the Tonto Natural Bridge! It is a State Park that is only 22 minutes away!

Other Things to Note:
Please note that if you have more than 9 guests in your party, there is an additional $5 fee per additional guest (after 9). This fee is charged solely for the purpose to properly recompense our cleaning team.

We have space to Park your ATV Trailer! No Smoking of any kind is permitted on property.

We loved the house, very unique! Had plenty of room for us to hang out and converse. I was the last one arrive and they all told me what a great place I found for our meet up! We also loved the location and variety of restaurants in the area The patio door is very hard to lock from the outside. One of the property owners was there and he even had a hard time locking.

Some friends an I came in town for an event and we could not have been happier with the house. We traveled to visit family in Payson and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The property manager, Tara, was fantastic and kept in touch with us during our entire stay.We had everything we needed while there. The granola bars on hand were a nice touch. We will be back in a few months. This will be our new go-to place to stay while in Payson.

This was a perfect house for our large group of 3 families. Never once did we feel we were on top of one another. The kids absolutely loved the upstairs loft. We wish we could have stayed longer! The attention to detail when it comes to design is amazing! We were all super impressed and hope to be back in the future!

Pieper Mansion was perfect for our family of 15. It had plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy the holiday weekend. There are so many things to do near the house that our family never got bored. The host, Kimberlie, was so nice, and quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely be staying there again in the future. 10/10 recommend

The property is beautiful and was perfect for my family and I. Appliances are pretty fancy and cooking in the kitchen was very easy and spacious. We all felt cozy and at home but definitely with a luxurious feel. One thing I did not necessarily pay attention to was the 4th bedroom and bath. The 4th bedroom is similar to a loft with a bunkhouse feel; however, it can only be accessed from the outside on the 2nd level, which is perfectly fine. Downside was whomever stayed in that space would only have access to the outside patio 1/2 bathroom which is also upgraded. The cabin temperature was a bit warm and the split air’s didn’t seem to respond to a temperature change. Overall a BEAUTIFUL and LUXURIOUS space.

From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were amazed at the attention to detail that was put into this property. It was immaculately clean, with every surface and corner gleaming! The living areas were generously sized, providing plenty of room for relaxation and family activities, yet the place still managed to feel cozy and intimate. Whether we were enjoying a movie night in the living room or a family meal around the dining table, the space adapted to our needs seamlessly. The attention to detail in maintaining the property did not go unnoticed. It was evident that the hosts take great pride in their home, making it a sanctuary for travelers. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for the care and hospitality shown throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a clean, spacious, and cozy accommodation. It’s a perfect retreat for families looking to create lasting memories.

We went up as a family for my daughters 29th birthday for 2 nights. There ended up being only 8 of us afterall in total so we stayed on the main floor. The beds upstairs with the pool table have access from stairwell which is outside of house. It was a rainy first night, so hence, why we all stayed in main living area. There is no bathroom up there, it is located downstairs and outside as well. They have a cute little firepit area for use for all the cottages there. If it wasn't raining we definitely would of used as they had a good amount of seating. We did use the propane firepit that is located under the patio area of the house. The house overall is so beautifully decorated and no issues at all. Everything in working condition. The host did well on communication. Only lacking the one star as we did have to wait on patio 30 min past check in as we didn't have the code. Past bookings I usually receive that night before or early morning of. Kimberly was very sweet and apologized as it was the message/connection delayed. She called as soon as she received my message. Overall very pleased with the stay and would definitely recommend.

Went with a small group of friends for my birthday. Host was very responsive, cabin is gorgeous and clean. Felt like luxury in the woods. Will definitely stay again. The only thing that would make this place better would be a nice hot tub! But thats my inner water sign talking. Loved it!!

The property had so much history, right on Main Street, and such a fun atmosphere. Very close to the park, beautiful big yard, and the coolest decorations!
